Fantastic authentic French cuisine with attentive service to match. We visited for brunch and almost all of the dishes were excellent. The foie gras appetizer was smooth and rich with dried fruits and hearty bread to make a savory combination. The croque madamoiselle was superb and it was honestly the best croque monsieur sandwich I’ve had to date. The Nutella, banana, and strawberry crepes were great. The ahi tuna burger was delicious and well-balanced. The lobster bisque was non traditional and missed the mark a bit, but overall the food was very good and of the highest quality. The coffee was good as well. I am looking forward to returning for dinner and I will definitely recommend to others.

We returned for dinner and the food was phenomenal. French onion soup and escargot were great. The warm bread was the ideal vessel for scooping up the remaining butter, garlic, and parsley sauce from the escargot. The seafood risotto was superb and perfectly executed. Mushroom pasta was delicious. We enjoyed the weekday 5-7pm happy hour and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. Overall, a superb dinner. I look forward to my next visit.

Cozy and charming cafe with wonderful brunch options. Service was excellent. We sampled a few options to share and everything was delicious. My favorite was the brief flatbread and smoked salmon benedict. The crepe nutella was a perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place and the food was superb. I had the mango and salmon tare tare with salad and it was fresh and delicious. Although a French Bistro the atmosphere didn’t reflect it as much; it was an eclectic mix of modern furniture with French lighting so it felt a little out of place. Overall a wonderful experience with good service. Would go back and eat there again.

Gorgeous place, unbelievably amazing food, and incredible service! Seriously, I don’t think I ever saw the bottom of my cup! The owner even stopped by our table to greet us and and chat for a few minutes.
Also, I forgot to take a picture of it, but the chocolate croissant transcended delicious and landed squarely in dreamy. Baked fresh and in house, it’s no wonder!

What a gem in North Miami! Authentic French cuisine. The Chef and his wife personally greeted us and the servers were welcoming and very attentive. The handmade pasta, made daily on site was cooked to perfection. We have already gone back twice!

Wonderful dinner! We came for my mother-in-law’s 82nd birthday and enjoyed a magnificent meal. The waitress was an absolute delight, and very informative. My wife ordered the mushroom risotto and I tried the seafood risotto. Both were spectacular. Our son ordered a steak that was so big he couldn’t finish it. My MIL enjoyed her shrimp but didn’t care for the pasta. After dinner, we even had a visit from the chef who posed for photos with the table. It was a lovely experience and we will be back.

I was a little bit hesitant because I loved Barok so much BUT we tried several new dishes and are more in love with the menu. Yes a few things have changed and it’s soooo good. Try the risotto, it’s the best. Quality, Fresh ingredients and a fresh new feel! We will be back again and again.

Adorable little French bistro. Great for any occasion, any time of day. Atmosphere is sophisticated but not at all stuffy. Staff is very friendly and prompt. Food is amazing. So happy to have found this perfect little spot close to home. Oh, they deliver too!
