Delicious breakfast and they serve it ALL day. Great omelettes and they know how to make hash browns with butter instead of canola oil or some other low quality & unhealthy oil. Great service too!

Nice and easy breakfast spot. They have plates as well as quick bites – breakfast sandwich, pancakes, etc. Espresso drinks. Lunch & breakfast all day.

I’ve been coming here periodically for breakfast for the last 6 years and it’s about a 3.5 star for that. I just went for lunch yesterday and ordered the patty melt. It was hands down the worst burger experience of my life. The patty was clearly frozen (which in and of itself isn’t unusual) and felt both old and overcooked. It was dry, rubbery, unseasoned, and cooked beyond well done.
There are no substitutions allowed for the sides either. For example: I can’t get breakfast potatoes instead of fries with a burger and I can’t get fries instead of breakfast potatoes with an omelette.
I think this was my last trip to Mustard.

Ordered a strawberry salad online website. Wanted chicken on the salad but there was not a place to add chicken. Thought it was already on it. It wasn’t. Please add the option to add a protein to salads.

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have better reviews, but I’m a fan of local eateries that have excellent food! By all means this place is just that! ☺️ I’ve been searching for a decent breakfast spot around Irvine area that would deliver & found no avail, until I found this little gem. Me & my associates are obsessed with many of their items. Their Eggs Benedict, French Toast, & Two Eggs are the go to! Im a fan of French Toast & have not found a place that does it perfect like MUSTARD CAFE! I’m trying to work around the menu to try everything and so far it’s been wonderful! Thank you so much for the delicious food! Please keep up the great work! I can’t wait to actually visit this location for breakfast! I love this place!

I recently tried the egg and cheddar panini at Mustard cafe, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the bread used in the panini wasn’t a true panini – it was dry, hard, and lacked the crispy texture that is expected from a good panini. Additionally, the egg inside the panini was far from fluffy and seemed overcooked, making it difficult to chew and swallow. Lastly, the cheddar cheese was dry and lacked flavor, adding nothing to the overall taste of the dish.
Overall, I found the egg and cheddar panini to be a lackluster dish that didn’t meet my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying breakfast or lunch option.

Bro. Mustard Café is not a restaurant. It’s a religious experience. I walked in and Adrian was gripping the mustard bottle like it was forged in the fires of Mt. Effoc. Dude looked me dead in the eyes and whispered “67” like it was the launch code for enlightenment. Tuff was in the corner eating straight mango slices with no expression, just pure raw energy.
I ordered the mustard–mango fusion sandwich and I swear on my grippers, time slowed down. First bite: boom. Tastebuds ascended. Second bite: my ancestors appeared and handed me a jar of Dijon. Third bite: I blacked out and woke up in 67 B.C. watching Julius Caesar slip on a mango peel.
The chairs got GRIP. Once you sit, you’re locked in like a Final Destination melee match—no items, just mustard. Effoc was in the back blending smoothies so loud I thought the café was taking off like a NASA shuttle.
Final verdict: 67/10. Mustard Café isn’t just food, it’s a way of life. Adrian is the gatekeeper, mangoes are the path, and mustard is the truth. Enter with caution, leave with sticky hands and eternal wisdom.
