While driving I wanted to eat some bbq and stopped at Mustang. Once I entered I was delighted by the beautiful aroma in the air. We ordered ribs and brisket for two. The portion was enormous. It was absolutely perfect, the ribs tasted so good and the brisket was juicy with such a beautiful smoked flavour. The atmosphere was very authentic, rustic, American.

Mustang Creek catered the 2025 Jackson Electric CoOp Annual meeting held at the Bay City Civic Center. I had never had your food before and was really impressed by the quality and taste of your brisket and pinto beans. Not over-salted as many do. The brisket was very lean, and fall-apart tender. Really good sauce, nice potato salad & coleslaw. Next time I’m passing by, you have one more customer! Great job, and thanks to JEC for choosing you to cater this event.

The inside is kind of set up like a cafeteria, not fancy by any means, but not terrible either, just not what we’re used to. Not a huge selection of food but it was good. Overall worth going to if you like BBQ.

Alright, this place might not look like much from the outside, but this is one of thebetter BBQ ever. Here’s the catch, it’s all you can eat. The price is affordable and the sides are to die for. I am definitely coming back here soon!

I’ve been coming here since they were at their old location. Always loved it. Not sure if the old man passed, but he wasn’t in there today (09/06/24) slicing brisket. I ordered a pound of moist brisket. This is a picture of it. It looks like the brisket wasn’t trimmed, and tastes like they cooked it in the oven – not a smoker.

This BBQ is good priced and extremely good. Fresh and worth the $18 for buffet. Sweet tea is amazing and customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.
