My granddaughter got the terrific kid award at her school. And one of her prizes was a free meal here. Great service an awesome waitress. I had the fried tilapia. It was pretty good not great but pretty good. My better half said the same thing about the fried shrimp she had. The six-year-old loved her hamburger.

Anyone giving this place below 5 stars probably would complain about anything. I was so excited to eat, I only took pictures of the onion rings. And they are amazing. Everything is homemade. It is a must stop every time I am in town.

Musselwhites has been in Palatka for as long as I can remember.Always one of the top pickd for seafood. The food is mostly seafood but they have good steaks also I have heard. I had fried sample dinner with mahi and scallops . Both were tasty. Scallops were large. I got a upgrade side of a house salad for think only 1.50 that was quite big with blue cheese.

Disappointed… out of the box stuff, servers engaged in conversations with people they knew but not acknowledged new customers entering the premises. Scallops looks like ground fish put together, the fish fillet was a two by two inches and the rest was a lot of breading instead of real product. Since 1999 serving this? Wow!

Great food! We tried the gator tail for our appetizer, tender and tasty.
Fried shrimp was cooked to perfection, did find a couple shrimp that weren’t cleaned well. Grilled shrimp were seasoned great there were also a few that needed some cleaning. Fried okra offered as a side and was cooked perfect! Service was great! We enjoyed our time and dinner.

It’s was good not exceptional. Folks are nice. The boiled shrimp were better than the fried. I’d recommend the shrimp platter over the seafood platter. Too many clam straps and not my favorite.
