What a great time we had at an Atlanta iconic restaurant. I had no idea when I made reservations for my daughter’s birthday that this was a 45-year-old family owned restaurant. The calamari- best EVER! garlic bbq shrimp- amazing , and crab cakes- phenomenal!!! Everyone in our party of 8 enjoyed their meal. The key lime pie was perfect with bits of coconut mixed n the graham cracker crust. The drinks were good as well. To have Ms. Joy and Ashton thank us for coming was a special touch. Thank you for accommodating us on a Friday evening! The hostess “H” was the sweetest by taking our family photo. The ambiance is soft lighting and low toned music which makes this a great place for a date night! I highly recommend this restaurant and I WILL be returning!

Murphy’s is an absolute standout. I had dinner there with two friends, and from start to finish, everything was exceptional. We began with the grilled artichokes and the beets with blood oranges—both fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. For our mains, we shared the Carolina Trout, the herb-rubbed chicken, and the tagliatelle bolognese, and each dish was better than the last. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
Dessert truly took things over the top. The trio—Key Lime Pie, Tollhouse Pie, and the Bonzo—was the stuff dreams are made of. We paired our meal with a bottle of Gómez y Rial “Compostelae” Albariño, which I highly recommend—it was crisp, elegant, and the perfect complement to our meal.
A special shoutout to our server, Julie, who was flawless. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, and her timing was impeccable. Murphy’s delivered an unforgettable dining experience—I can’t wait to go back.

LOVED it here. Good spot for dinner with the family. The carrot ginger marg is really good, the carrot cuts the ginger and the tequila cuts the mezcal. Mussles in butternut squash broth were a good surprise. Solid burger too

What I ordered was the 1855 hanger steak with a side of truffle mac & cheese and broccolini. My significant other ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. Let me tell you , if you’re new to Atlanta or live in Atlanta and need a new spot to try out this is the place!! Whether the occasion is date night or solo dining, Murphys restaurant is going to get you right! Our waitress was amazing, the host and bartender in the front was very sweet and welcoming. The overall experience was just a 10/10 and I will gladly be back!

Wonderful New Year’s Day brunch. Hafsa was our extraordinary server. She was fiendly and efficient! The place was busy but quick service. They have a broad drink menu with specialty drinks, wine, and mocktails. Daily soup, sandwiches, salads…and save room for dessert.

It was our first time coming here – I have nothing but great things to say about Murphy’s! The service was top notch, atmosphere was great and romantic (we came on Christmas Eve), and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak with Brussels sprouts and my husband had the grilled pork with potatoes. He says it’s the best pork he’s had in a very long time. We will definitely be back soon. It’s a perfect restaurant for any special occasion!

Murphy’s was a very very very pleasant surprise in the midtown Atlanta area. The atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 soft lighting, romantic incredible. The service was a little slow, but the weight staff was very well-versed on all of the dishes. They really gave you information about the nuance and the bouquet of dishes we were very impressed. The barbecue shrimp left a little to be desired. They weren’t seasoned super well and the artichoke hearts were also seasoned inconsistently. The onion soup was a 10 out of 10 and the other appetizers were super.

I had a fabulous brunch here with a friend and everything was perfect! I love quiche and it was delicious. The side salad was amazing too and the perfect light side. We sat at the bar and every employee we interacted with was kind, courteous, and attentive. I also interacted with one of their managers, Alex, who was helping out behind the bar. She was an absolute delight and it’s so nice to see managers helping out when things get busy! I will absolutely be back!!

Very cute brunch spot! Great service! Love the heated outdoor seating. The complimentary biscuits are insanely good. All of the food we ordered was fresh and delicious! Also highly recommend the cheese grits!
