In over 40 years of eating here I’ve yet to be disappointed. I have however needed a nap after often times.

We went today 5/4/2025 for late lunch, early dinner. The food was very good. The waitress was on the ball. She did a great job. There was four of us. We all got something different. Everyone liked their food. I recommend going in and giving them a try . Plenty of food. I got the hamburger steak and mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert , I got pecan pie. Mine was very good.

First time here, 3:00 Saturday afternoon very busy but seats available. Waitresses so sweet, everyone was so nice. Asked if we wanted a sample of fries and gravy, delicious. Food served extremely hot, fresh, no complaints!!! If back in Bartlesville I will stop here again for sure!!

This is an awesome little hidden gem. The food was phenomenal, service was outstanding. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. I ordered rare, but I got rare with a nice slightly crispy sear on the outside that added a nice unexpected touch. I got fries and a loaded baked potato that were also great, and I finished my meal with desert, a slice of chocolate pie that was to die for.
If you are in, around, or passing through…. definitely need to stop here and check the place out, but get there early as it filled up pretty fast and quickly had a line/wait.

Although they were very busy, our wait was under 5 minutes. Our server was at the table within a minute of us sitting down, took our order and had our drinks and salads within a few minutes. Our meals arrived shortly after we finished our salads. The timing was as good as you can expect without considering how busy they were. Every table was full with diners waiting. Our glasses were never empty and our server checked on all the tables in her area mutiple times. The food was delicious and cooked as ordered.

Normally we love coming here (the one time we’ve been before this), but this last time we had a waitress that ruined the entire experience for us. She was rude, didn’t want to answer our questions, and we were met with “have you guys even been here before?” Yes, we’ve been here once and have one ordered one item on the menu. In addition, she had snarky comments to add in the all of 1 time she checked on us. She left us every time to go chat very animatedly with the table a few tables away from us, which is clearly where she wanted to be instead of helping us enjoy our 7 year anniversary. We will have to think long and hard if it’s worth it to come back. Luckily we were able to salvage the evening with a local ice cream place, instead of buying a dessert here at Murphy’s. I didn’t want to spend another dime on top of the stuff we already ordered. Food was amazing. Service was abysmal.

Great family owned restaurant! They have the B-ville classic, the Hot Hamburger, and many other great entrees. Good service and atmosphere too. And it’s a great value. Our party of five had a great lunch with 2 appetizers for about $65 before tip. It may not look like much on the outside since the building is pretty old, but it’s what inside that counts.

Been going to this place off and on since I was little. Changed owners everything is still good, but I can smell and taste the difference, don’t know if it’s in the city water, prep, or food itself but somethings different. Service and atmosphere was great. Their famous garlic dressing isn’t as thick as it used to be, but still taste great.
