Had a fantastic dinner for the four of us on their Sunday noodle night menu this evening! Highly recommend the grilled chicken bún, the vegan cha gio, & the muǒi tièu fries. The service, the atmosphere & the food was all phenomenal! Highly recommend & wish we lived closer because we would absolutely regularly eat here!! Best Vietnamese food we’ve had in the states in ages!

I recently visited Milo Tieu
The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting vibe that complemented the dining experience perfectly.

I started with their spring rolls, which were fresh and very flavor. The fries were a delightful surprise—crispy and seasoned to perfection. For the main course, I opted for the brisket and ribeye pho, and it was delicious . The broth was rich and aromatic, while the meats were tender and flavorful. Overall, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving pho in a welcoming environment!
* note the portions are indeed small but don’t let this stop you from enjoying this place.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in the DMV area hands down. Their fried chicken tastes like my aunties I used to eat for breakfast before going to school. The vermicelli noodles with pork sausage is so fresh and their plating is top tier. My favorite dish here I always order 3-4 servings – that you will definitely not find anywhere is their ban beo! It is to die for if your viet you will understand. Fresh ban beo you can only find back home but here at Muoi Tieu, makes me feel like I’m back home. Vietnamese places promote pho, here they give you true fresh Vietnamese dishes. Their service is A1 too, truly the best I will be back again next week!

I was excited to eat here but unfortunately I was really disappointed. I ordered food to go, the Ga Niong – Grilled Lemongrass Chicken for 21 dollars. I felt like the container was so light that I had to check to see if they forgot something. The portion was maybe 1/3 of what I expected for that price. I went back and the staff assured me those are the portions they give. The chicken was not seasoned and bland. The veggies I ate in 2 bites and they were also under seasoned with one scoop of white rice. I walked away overpaying for a toddler’s meal, there was nothing staff offered to do. I recommend going somewhere else where restaurants plan to actually fill your belly with warm, seasoned meals.

Just loved loved this restaurant! The atmosphere, the decor, the service? Top of the line! One of my favorite lunch meals is pho but it’s very rare to find broth that doesn’t feel industrial. The pho at Muoi Tieu was anything but. Totally tasteful and definitely homemade. Beyond delicious. The mushroom spring roll that started our meal was light and flavorful. The flan could have been from a gourmet restaurant in Paris. This was just a simple lunch! Can’t recommend this enough!

Food is awesome. Reminds me of the type of Vietnamese food I grew up eating but with more depth and nuance in the flavor. Overall a great journey into food that comes from a culture with so much change and strife and how the influences are reflected in the cuisine. There is an element of modern cuisine and refinement, it is not just another Asian/vietnamese take out so please do not expect that when sitting down and ordering. Great location with good parking nearby. Interior is beautifully decorated and the staff and friendly. It gives the same disposition of a family owned business.

I am a pho hunter and the broths are delicious! Def try the “bahn mi pho dip” which is an excellent takeout beef sandwich. The vermicelli bun, and other plates i love for being super fresh — no hiding of things under salt and sauces.
Full disclosure i ordered some platters form them for a party (recommend) and people vaporized every tray.
Also price wise think of it as the halfway point between a hole in the wall spot and Moon Rabbit in downtown DC.

I had the tofu in tomato sauce, tofu fern cakes, and steamed banana cake. Everything tasted very delicious and fresh. The staff were kind and we enjoyed the ambiance. Looking forward to coming back!

I was a little skeptical cause pho is $18 but it’s new add close to home. Glad we gave it a go. Food was fresh, well executed and unique. Enjoyed every dish. Great for a couple but not for larger family style eating as each plate has limited portions. We shared an appetizer, two big plates and a dessert with a glass of wine. Paid about $75, not bad for today’s DC small plate dining. We cleaned our plates and I felt like I could have eaten just a hint more.

Great food and space, service was thoughtful and diligent. The Banh Mi Pho dip was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Perfectly crafted. My only criticism was the fries with the chili crunch was a little hard to eat in its delivery, the chili crunch was tasty yet expensive for the amount of oil. I really shouldn’t even complain because with the cilantro aioli the fries were good and even better with chili crunch.
