Service was just OK. Nothing remarkable. What shocked me was the price. I paid £76. 1 Full English, that was far from, no mushrooms, black pudding, fresh tomatoes. The toast was served with no butter. The sausages, just one cut in half. Beans lukewarm. My daughter and her friend as you can see in the picture had an item on toast. It is seriously overpriced, nothing special and no effort put into it. I would not go again. I felt scammed.

The English breakfast was great. This was our first breakfast spot, where we learned “bacon” isn’t bacon everywhere. Regardless, we were happy with the price, portions, and service, plus the theme was a lot of fun.

Food 4 out of 5. Big to the expensive side compared to the taste. Portion is big. Services very nice. Friendly staff, looks clean… Just opposite the London museum. Quiet neighbourhood….

Really good food, prices comparable to most London restaurants. Highly recommend, I had a BLT, husband had salmon fish cakes. Left stuffed!

Bit of a funky spot. The decor is like one of this outlandish pubs but the prices for the food were a bit ridiculous. Got the fish and chips and the chips were just bog standard chips, possibly of the frozen kind. The fish was ok, the batter a little over fried and crumbly. Essentially was a massive fish finger. Probably won’t reccomend as the quality vs the price is not good. (£4.50 for a diet coke!)

The owner was hospitable and the food was delicious! We ordered fish and chips and English breakfast. 1) Fish and Chips: Fish was big, fresh and juicy. Salad and fries were delicious. 2) English breakfast: Egg, sausage, hash brown, beans and toast were delicious. Worth a try!

I had ordered a veg burger for takeaway. They said we have to wait for around 10-15 mins as they have to make it fresh. There’s a huge price difference on dine in and takeaway. So opt for takeaway if want to save some pennies BTW the burger was just awful. Patty was full of oil. Oil drops were coming out of the burger on applying little pressure. Taste was also bad.
Also they don’t have many options for takeaway.

Food was above average price, pork steak was raw. When showed to the waiter he just shrugged it off and insisted on a 12.5% service fee. Definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone.

We were going to go to “Fish Plaice” for their fish and chips but we walked past Munchkins earlier and saw their advertised fish and chips for £8-something. When we arrived they told us that was the take away menu… so we felt a little mislead, even though the title of it menu was “take away”.

Anyways we thought we’d give it a try. It is the same price as Fish Plaice, roughly.

The customer service was the first thing I noticed, the man seemed like he was in a hurry all the time (The place wasn’t even packed). The whole vibe was just screaming understaffed because they take no notice of you and they were all over the place. We didn’t feel like we were welcomed, because the waiter’s smile disappeared when we asked for water instead of a beverage…and when my water came the glass wasn’t clean, had finger prints all over the lip area.

When the food arrived it was quite a small to medium sized plate, battered fish , some chips, peas and salad. For £13.8 by the way.

The chips were good, salad was very fresh and the peas…nothing special about the peas. The part I felt was underwhelming was the fish. The batter was a little thick and looked different to your usual fish and chips batter. (Please see photos)

I did look up their reviews prior to trying but was a little skeptical and had to see for myself.

I wouldn’t be coming back here in all honesty… i’d rather spend my £14 elsewhere, so take those reviews that others have written into consideration.
