We were so excited to eat here after seeing a couple of insta posts. It was not bad food, but it was a disappointment. The menu wasn’t updated, the flavors weren’t as full as you’d like and the texture of the food was a bit gritty. Maybe we went on an off day, but we won’t go back. For the money, we’ll eat at one of the other local Indian food restaurants that we like much better.

Really good Indian restaurant in South Jordan. I came here with my son and I got the curry and he had another similar dish which were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were definitely fair, the gentleman at the counter who helped us was very nice and help me figure out my order. The lassa or liquid yogurt was absolutely delicious, it was a great complement to the somewhat spicy curry that I received. Wonderfully decorated and awesome sunlight comes in to the restaurant. The only downside is- we were the only customers the entire lunchtime hour. I fear this place isn’t getting enough business. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this location for great Indian food. They were extremely fast getting the food to us and we had a wonderful experience.

Best place for Maharashtrian cuisine I have visited so far in the U.S. All the options that we tried had authentic taste and reminded me of home, just the right amount of spice level. This restaurant will surely become a go-to option for us!
Special shout out for ‘Puneri Misal’, you won’t regret giving it a shot!

We had a great experience at Munchkart! When we got there, we were the only customers. The person behind the counter let us try every dish. It was fun to try such a wide variety of curries and it helped make our dinner choices. I had the butter chicken and the Saoji. They were both delicious. I also had the basmati and the garlic naan. The naan was amazing—some of the best I’ve had. I liked the roti, but I’d stick with the Naan next time. I loved the chicken samosas and the mango jar cake was light, fresh, and delicious.
My friends and I sat and talked and ate for a couple of hours. We were there on a week night so it wasn’t packed. The service was great and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere.
I sincerely think this restaurant is a must try for the price and quality of food. The quick service is appealing and try taking advantage of the samples! I loved this restaurant!

FLAVORFUL! CLEAN! FRIENDLY!!

I admittedly know very little about the names of dishes, but the staff working and even the customers were really helpful! Super clean, inviting restaurant for dine in.

Tried the Butter Masala & Korma with the Jeera rice, Chicken, mixed veggies, & Fresh Creame and it was delicious!

We tried all of the breads, loved the butter and cheese naan, the Peshwari naan that were awesome!

Definitely want to try again!

Overwhelming number of reviews are from people with 10 reviews or less but out of the handful of local guides they mostly rated this location with 5 stars. The restaurant opened 3 months ago. Upon entering I was a little concerned for a Saturday during lunch time the place was a ghost town. No music playing in lobby but the wall art (see pic) is interesting. The chairs are made of wire metal and were uncomfortable to sit in but we were able to locate some chair pads making them tolerable. The air conditioning was comfortable and the side of the restaurant has a nice patio for more temperate days. The food itself was mixed, the saag chicken spicy was pretty good but hardly spicy (best place I’ve found for spicy in Utah is Saffron while flavor and taste was probably hemalain Kitchen), while the makhani chicken was pretty bland. Both were fairly small portioned as other reviewers have noted. The rice was fine basic white rice no issues. The roti’s were excellent.

Overall neither a positive nor negative experience. I’d come again if part of my party hadn’t tried it but otherwise I’d pass for other options nearby.

Perfect for what it was, a quick serve Indian joint. Great flavors and quick service. The naan wasn’t particularly a good value per cost, but the rest was great and I got plenty of rice with the meal. I didn’t find anything too spicy with what I tried and there are several options.

Like eating at your Indian friends house! The service was fast and the food was delicious! We ordered the plate, pani puro, samosas and one naan for 2 adults and 2 kids and we had a bit of the rice leftover, so portions are generous. Will come again!

Delicious! I had a plate with the chicken Korma, chickpeas and veg pulao (rice with vegetables). Flavors were fantastic, the rice well seasoned and vegetables were crisp tender. I had a bit of trouble deciphering the menu and was helped by the man taking my order. The yogurt sauce also delicious!

The atmosphere is really fun. Super cool wall murals, tons of light and outdoor seating when weather permits. So glad more places are offering outdoor seating!

Simply the best authentic maharastrian food in SLC.
Vada pav, chai, pav bhaji, misal pav, samosa chat are much recommended really had the authentic flavor in these items. try out other appetizers and entrees too
The ambience and service is very good. Staff and owner are very kind and pay much attention to detail and that shows in the quality of food, overall cleanliness and decor of the place.
This is a great place for grabbing a quick bite with family, hanging out with friends or even taking out.
Curry’s are bit less spice to my taste but the flavors are must try
