My wife and I are bougie about our Mexican food, coming from California…you expect to have real Mexican food but are often confronted with shredded wal mart cheese over red sauce.
Not this place….
Food – I’m salivating writing this review. Their food is delicious and definitely sets the bar high for anyone exploring their options. I’ve had their burritos, different tacos, ELOTE!!, and now their pasole. All have been savory and puts you on another planet. If you haven’t had elote, it’s a fav of mine. You might be deterred from eating corn on the cob with mayonnaise on it…this however is amazing. Great spice and zest. The pasole had so much flavor (Friday and Saturday only). The birria tacos are so good too, other places it’s greasy to the max.
Atmosphere – Like their truck, they love pink. This isn’t your typical Mexican restaurant decor you might be used to seeing. See photos. It’s very welcoming and the two ladies as well as their wait staff welcome you with smiles.
Service – The food is piping hot and comes out fresh. The staff frequently check on people dining in and are helpful.
If you’re wanting a quick bite, here’s the place. Sit and enjoy, it’s great for that too. What I like is it’s family owned and you become family when you enter.
First of all—this place is adorable. Cute, charming, pink, cozy, and somehow feels like a tiny party where tacos are the main event. The vibe alone puts you in a good mood before you even eat. Add in the super friendly service, and you’re already winning.
Now let’s talk food, because WOW. The tacos were fresh, juicy, and absolutely doing the most (in the best way). The drinks were bright, fun, and refreshing—basically summer in a cup. Everything tasted like it was made with care and joy… and maybe a little magic.
Dessert, however…
Listen. We respected the creativity. We admired the boldness. But our taste buds were like, “This is fascinating, but we are confused.” Not bad—just very adventurous, and not quite for our palates. Still, points for originality because they were definitely memorable.
All in all, amazing food, great energy, lovely people, and a totally fun experience. We laughed, we ate well, we tried new things, and we left happy. That’s a five-star visit in our book. ✨
Let’s get back to the food, I’ve been in Florida for 2 weeks and have eaten lunch here everyday. The Guacamole is amazing, the street tacos!!! To die for. If your looking for an authentic Mexican meal, that’s priced at a inexpensive price, please fund your way here!!!
