Great place for Peruvian food! The Lomo Saltado was excellent and the service was above and beyond. The guy working the counter helped us decide what to order and even threw in a few things on the house. Will for sure be back.

I had wanted to try some Peruvian food before I visited Lima. I traveled from Denton to find Munay’s and was not disappointed. The rotisserie chicken was fabulous and the french fries were outstanding – as far as french fries go. I was surprised at how few customers there were but so glad I went. The atmosphere is pretty sparse but all in all, worth the trip!

Today was an early dinner: a delicious “lomo saltado” and “helado de lúcuma” as dessert. The background music was classic salsa, like in Perú. Munay maintains its good quality, good service reputation. Good job!

This place is so good! The atmosphere feels like you’re at a Hispanic cookout! The chicken was amazing, especially with the green sauce on the side.
The “fried rice” with the chicken was excellent. All the chicken was juicy and the rice, even the white was very well seasoned. I will be back!

The seasoning for all the dishes was spot on. The Mixto Anticucho Picado y Rachi, a mix of grilled beef hearts and omasum tripe, was one of my favorites. It was perfectly seasoned with a satisfying chewiness, making it an excellent choice for pairing with drinks. If you’re not a fan of chewy meats, the Lomo Saltado, made with tender sirloin, is a great alternative.
I also tried the Sausage and Sirloin Fried Rice (Chaufan), which was offered as a substitute for an out-of-stock item and wasn’t listed on the menu. The sirloin was incredibly tender with a rich, beefy flavor. While it seemed to be made with freshly cooked steamed rice, using chilled rice stir-fried at high heat could have elevated the dish to perfection.
Special mention to their spicy sauce—it had fantastic seasoning, a nice kick from green onions, and a thicker consistency compared to other hot sauces.

We were feeling adventurous, So we decided to go to Munay Peruvian cuisine. We ordered the Lomo Saltado with the Inca cola. The owner was so nice to give us a box of delicious Peruvian cookies and salad. The food was served in minutes with a smile . I loved the beef! The sauce was nice and the orange hot sauce was muy caliente! Super friendly staff and owners. Thank you for an excellent 1st visit!

This was a nice Mexican restaurant. Little or no service was provided as you need to order from the counter. It was a food adventure for me as I’ve never tried the cow heart before. I believe the restaurant used to serve cow tripe, stomach, intestine and heart, but currently, they only serve cow tripe and heart. All the food were very tasty and well seasoned, and the chicken was also very tender. The cashier didn’t speak English very well and I had to show her photos of what I wanted.

I was denied service at this restaurant because I was accompanied by my legally protected service dog. This is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Texas law.
I calmly explained my rights, but management still refused service. I will be filing a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities.
Businesses should train their staff on ADA compliance to avoid discriminating against people with disabilities.

Munay restaurant has the best Peruvian “Pollo a la Brasa” in the area. I visit Munay at least once a week and Glorimar’s service is always top-notch. Highly recommended! .The “Lomo Saltado” is just as good as the “Pollo a la brasa”
