Ordered take out for supper. Very steady flow of people. Not many eating in, however, many to go orders. Had a reuben, new yorker, italian, and blt. All very good. Each came with a side, tried the fruit cup, potato chips, and potato salad.

I had an amazing experience at McAlister’s Deli in Vicksburg with all my visits.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive and eager to help with recommendations, making me feel right at home.

I decided to try their vegetarian sandwich, and I was thoroughly impressed! It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious ingredients. The combination of flavors was perfect, and it truly showcased the quality of their offerings.

To complement my sandwich, I also sampled their soups, and let me tell you, the selection is fantastic! I tried the tomato basil, and it was incredibly rich and comforting—just what I needed on a chilly day. The variety of soups available means there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving something classic or adventurous.

Overall, my visit to McAlister’s Deli was delightful, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Vicksburg, be sure to stop by for outstanding customer service, a delicious veg sandwich, and a stellar selection of soups. I’ll definitely be returning!

I visited McAlister’s Deli on June 12th with my coworkers on our way to New Orleans! The atmosphere was clean and inviting. Our interaction with the team member taking our order was short and concise. I ordered the pick two combo with a cup of potato soup and a half house salad. We didn’t wait too long before our food came out! I enjoyed my soup, and I think the salad could have included more fresh ingredients. Overall, it was a positive experience! We were under a time constraint and McAlister’s met our needs!!

We ate here during a busy Sunday lunch and had 8 people. They got our whole order correct and the meal was tasty. We tried the King Club (bigger than the McAllister’s club and only a little more expensive). It was great. We also ordered the Southwest Chicken and Avocado salad, really tasty and the roasted corn on it was lovely. The chicken tortilla soup was good but it didn’t really have too many different things in it (like corn or tomatoes or anything green, etc). But it had a good flavor. There were several good kid options and you can order a side of fruit with it. Like the kid’s spud and the kid’s pizza. All in all for 8 people the meal wasn’t too expensive either. We would highly recommend this place.

My husband stops here regularly on his way home from Ergon. In the last 5 times we have been here, they have gotten his order wrong, he has had to wait a long time, or he has been in the dining room waiting, and they have had it out the takeout window without telling him. Last time I had gone early to meet him. I placed our order, I had ordered a spud max. He got there about 15 minutes after me. We sat and sat, and finally I went up to find out what had happened, and the girl said “Oh, they just told us it is going to be 40 MORE minutes for a potato”. We got a refund and another girl had been given the wrong food in the drive through. She had ordered a spud max too, so she got a refund too. They had messed up my tea order ( gave me sweet instead of unsweetened, my husband is diabetic. So when they gave me my refund, was supposed to be 32.00 and she gave me 26.00. I asked her why it was only 26.00? She said well, tax and your tip and your tea?!?? I said I’m gonna need my tip back!! She still charged me for my tea. I will never darken their door again……ever!!! We were there at least once a week or at least twice a month. We will not be there again!!

Take out from McAlisters was a terrible experience. The kitchen staff did not follow directions period.
I requested a chicken salad sandwich . The chicken was to be put in a cup rather than on the bread.
The bread was old . It seem that the sandwich had already been prewrapped.
I set in the building and waited. The sandwich wasn’t refresh nor fixed as requested at the registered.
The food was simply trash.
The young lady at the register was great.
I won’t be going back know soon. The tea is to sweet even when you request half & half. McAlister use to have the best tea in town.

We eat at this location when we’re passing through Vicksburg. Based on what we saw it looks this place will be shutting down soon. Sign at the register said take out only but then they allowed us to dine in. Had to order on one register and pay on another one. Seemed like there more than enough employees to provide dine-in service but maybe no motivated to work.
Sandwiches were just ok. Broccoli cheese soup had no broccoli. Chicken and avacado caesar salad was very small in size and had very little chicken and no avacado. Lemonade was excellent. Overpriced and disappointing.

I picked up my order at drive thru after reading rave reviews I had expectations which were crushed. The nachos were corn chips and a cups of mish mashed toppings that seemed in an expired condition. The broccoli soup that was rated best was cool and also seemed expired, I couldnt eat it either, next came the french dip, bread seemed ok,lots of meat, but it was in a big hard lump, not hot and unpleasant first cold bite. I was travelling, so heating these up were not an option, the au jus was cool not hot. Next comes my mac n cheese, no bueno. Try harder, you are next to several hotels with lots of potential new customers, some of whom risked their safety walking down steep hill to dine in, I hope they had hotter better food

I tried their Signature McAlister Club. While the service was fast, (less than 10 min), the sandwich was just average. The tomatoes weren’t ripe, and the bacon was sparse. They used Miracle Whip on the sandwich rather than mayonnaise. The plate with sides was more than adequate for lunch. I would come back because of the variety of other menu items. The French Dip looked good, and my coworkers were happy with it.

I enjoyed being here at McAlister’s Deli. The restaurant was busy but not loud. The service was quick. I chose the half plate, Caesar and a baked , which is still a great amount of food to digest.
The staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean. I went with mother who enjoyed her meal. She did state she would have preferred more sauerkraut on her Reuben. Just know here you get a lot of food for your money, thus be hungry when you choose to dine here.
The best I can tell, it looked like there were many business patrons enjoying their dinner. As for me, I enjoyed a good meal. Thank you.
