When I walked in the atmosphere was beautiful. People had smiles on their faces. I ordered sambusa’s which were absolutely delicious. The spices and seasoning were amazing. The portions are big. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious beef sambusa. There’s lots of other amazing, delicious foods you can get here. We will definitely be back.

This is one of my family’s favorite places to get takeout in Rochester. The food is really tasty, the portions are huge. 2 plates of meat + rice feed my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and we typically have leftovers. My kids love the chicken legs but I prefer the chicken breast pieces. We tried the goat tonight too—it was tasty although pretty fatty.

I highly recommend you try it! We’ve eaten in a few times and I’ve met friends there for Somali tea and sambusas—the ambience leaves a bit to be desired, but honestly I kind of like it that way, especially since the food makes up for it.

I like that there’s a grocery store attached, too!

It is a very Arabic countryside cafe, not a restaurant. Food is very Cambodian Arabic like Malaysian food. Somalian people are the friendliest Arabic African. They spoke English to me while I ate and drink inside.

Great authentic Somalian cuisine food. The seating lobby area can use some update/upgrade but the food is delicious.

The food here is absolutely amazing, featuring authentic homemade Somali dishes and treats. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, making every visit enjoyable. My top recommendations are definitely their soor, along with the fried rice and chicken legs—they’re simply the best!

The food was really good. I had goat and rice, very tender and seasoned well. Good atmosphere sat around and had some great conversations. This will be my go to spot while I’m here in Minnesota.

Stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of town. The lamb was fantastic, the chicken was even better. Basmati rice was perfect…everything was well prepared and so flavorful!! Friendly & welcoming service too. New favorite food spot in Roch.
