We (my mom and I) have been eating here about once a month for 5 years. The food is delicious, and the service is professional and friendly. Usually, there is enough food served for several meals. Anyway, try it! I’ll bet you will like it too!

Not very good and didnt include my rice in my to-go order. Nothing is worse than driving somewhere, picking up a to go bag that has been double-knotted shut and realizing your order is incomplete once you arrive back at work with no more time on your break to go make it right.
It was hot and seemed fresh, but The general tsos chicken – marked “spicy” on the menu was the sweet and overall bland although it was hot and generous portion.
The hot sauce provided with the fried chicken wings was neither hot nor tasty. I ate them plain and they were ok.
I will try the numerous other Chinese restaurants in the area before returning to Hunan Lorton.

We go at least once a week. Best Chinese food in Lorton / Burke / Fairfax area. Best dishes: salt and pepper shrimp; crispy beef; sesame beef; sa cha delight; Singapore noodles; and all the Thai dishes. The owner, Johnny, is chinese but actually went to Thailand to study under a master Thai chef. His Thai dishes are better than most Thai restaurants. Very accommodating — happy to make special dishes. Great friendly service. Atmosphere nothing special, but overall a great dining experience.
