The first couple of times I got food from here the food was really good. Maybe a different cook today, but potatoes in tempura were raw in the middle, really heavy on the coating and grease. The lumpia was under the tempura, so soft and greasy instead of crisp, pork belly cut in huge pieces so the fat did not render enough. Overall a total miss.

No frills Filipino spot. I’m a little too white for my own good so I went with the seafood basket.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean even the glass on the front entrance was.
That being said, they could probably use a little pick me up in the back, there’s a lot going on it seems, but since they’re new give em a shot!

Everything was fried to perfection, it was crunchy, salty, but not overly fishy, even a picky fishermen would enjoy a simple basket like this.

One major critique I have is that there seems to be too much on the menu for a restaurant that size. Use what you’ve got but think K.i.s.s
Keep it stupid simple

If you’re looking for a legit Filipino restaurant, you should definitely check this place out!

I’ve been living in Washington for over two years now, and I’ve been searching for spots that serve Filipino dishes that meet the standard back home. I’ve tried several Filipino restaurants, and aside from Ludi’s (a great brunch spot in Seattle), this is now one of my favorites.

My husband and I went yesterday and ordered the vegetable lumpia, kare-kare, and beef nilaga — and everything was so good. The flavors were just like how they taste back home. I’ll definitely be coming back. This place reminds me so much of home.

I love this place. The owner is the one who owned Lin’s teriyaki. She always has yummy food and the quality never changes, and the positions are really good. For a while, after covid, they were still only dine in, but now they’re back to being dine in. Today, we ordered some lumpia, pancit bihon & canton, beef Nilaga, and chicken adobo. Wow! Auntie can still make yummy food. Definitely can’t wait to come back again.

**Update pretty sure I got food poisoning, spent all night vomiting**

Having spent a decent amount of time overseas enjoying Filipino cuisine I found myself excited to try something local as well. My personal favorite dishes has always been Pancit, Lumpia and Lechon Kawali. Unfortunately this meal was incredibly bad, and barely edible if not entirely inedible. The pork belly was dry and significantly overcooked while simultaneously being extremely greasy and oily. The pork belly lacked any real meat at all, and was comprised almost exclusively of fried skin. It was essentially overfried pork rinds that were underseasoned and extremely hard. The rice was also dry and tasted extremely old and worn out, like it just wanted to be put down, but not eaten.

The atmosphere of the location was giving the aura and display of a restraunt that had fallen on hard times and was well passed its prime. It seemed dated, and gave an uncomfortable dirty feeling. I would highly recommend they take a hard look at their menu and attempt to restructure in a way that they have fewer options that are of higher quality.

We got lumpia which was good. The other food items we got were chicken teriyaki, kare-kare, and sisig. Could definitely have the meat instead of the one with the bones in the kare-kare. Hardly had any meat to eat despite the sauce being good. There wasn’t much vegetables in there either. I still like their sisig. The chicken teriyaki didn’t have much sauce. I would still get pancit from here.

Found my new favorite teriyaki spot, AND it’s open on Sundays!!
Spicy chicken teriyaki was very mild, which I appreciate. Steamed veggies instead of an iceberg lettuce ‘salad’ was a nice touch as well.
My wife and I thought that the chicken fried rice was excellent, although my son didn’t like all the onions.
