We went to Mulligan’s in Cedar Falls Friday night. I wish I could remember the name of our server so I could call her out. We ordered a hamburger, mushroom and green pepper calzone. When it came out, it was ham instead of hamburger. We brought it to our server’s attention and she immediately apologized and said she felt really bad about the mistake. She asked if we wanted her to take it abck and make the correct one. We said no and that we were fine with this one. And she apologized once again. She came back as we were finishing and asked how our meal was and again apologized. We told her it was not a big deal and asked for our bill. She came back with our bill and a pizza box. She said that she got the manager to give us the wrong calzone at half price AND give us the correct one at no charge. And she yet again apologized for the mistake. This right here folks is a business that cares about their customers’ satisfaction. And this server (I sure wish I could remember her name) is an example of going the extra mile. She got a 35% tip from us for her extraordinary efforts to make sure we were satisfied. Definitely will be back to Mulligans many more times.

We walked in and seated ourselves at high top in bar area because no one was at the front door. Wednesday March 12. Served our drinks within reasonable amount of time. Had to clarify our order twice with waitress because she didn’t write anything down.
Husband ordered thai chicken pizza as a calzone which he has asked for and received at least 5+ times. Waitress returned and said the kitchen couldn’t make what he requested.
Husband then ordered platter with potato skins, southwest rolls, and naked wings. He Asked twice, are wings naked. Yes was waitress reply. She asked our sauce request for which husband asked for buffalo and blue cheese.
I ordered small pizza with ‘steak’, fresh vegetables, sour cream and guacamole. Burnt edges all around. Pics provided.
Asked waitress why wings were delivered with buffalo sauce on them vs naked. He response was ‘oh, you ordered them with buffalo sauce and blue cheese on side.’ If our order had been written down or taken with any care, maybe it would have been right.
Food came out burnt, cold and dry at the same. My question to the management is, look at these pictures and read our story and tell me if you would have been happy with your ‘experience’. We have been repeat customers for years with college kids in town. And we will not be returning.
By the way, service may have also been better if waitress hadn’t been sitting at a round table with her back to us scanning her cell phone. Had to ask the bartender (who was actually working hard) to get us our bill.
Left no tip for the first time in my 57 years of life.

We definitely were disappointed.
Our server needed Hearing aids!!! She didn’t understand anything we said without repeating it. Food was not very appealing, potato salad was warm, sandwich was bland and my salad did not have cucumbers and my chicken was overcooked. When I said something to our hearing impaired server she told me they haven’t had cucumbers in over a month, yet didn’t disclose anything when I ordered? Disregarded my burnt chicken when I barely ate it. Overpriced, place is dinghy and we don’t plan to return.

My experience here was absolutely amazing. Sorry I didn’t get better pictures of the food, but dang it was too good. On top of the food being great the service was top notch. Our server Atleigh was very welcoming and attentive. I can’t wait to be back again. I just moved to the area and I’ve found my spot to squat.

This place feels like being at a friend’s home. It isn’t the cleanest, but it has a welcoming atmosphere that feels real and not sterile. The food had amazing flavor and came out hot. The staff were kind and efficient. They have many tvs, if you are going to watch sports.

This is a local favorite restaurant. We are familiar with Mulligans : current and previous owners here. The service is some of the best in the Cedar Valley. This meal: sandwiches were very good and tasty. The fries were hot, crispy and good. Local beer options are tops.
The beer served in a glass: the glass was chipped and broken. Once brought to the attention to our server. it was quickly replaced.
Not sure why the tables remain sticky.
This is a restaurant in a perfect location. For esthetics we would suggest the doors be painted or updated and the concrete at the entrance be repaired. Currently these features make the restaurant look a bit in disrepair.

Stopped in for a quick bite with my wife while we were traveling through the state. I got the Big Tone sub and it was delicious but sadly lacking in meat with just a single layer of the ham, pepperoni, and prosciutto. I expected more for a $15 sub.

My son is addicted to Mulligan’s buffalo wings. Their pizza it’s decent and sandwiches are pretty good. Great place to watch sports or just to grab a drink. Their staff is always friendly. I have never been decepointed with their food or service.
