Three of us came to dine for lunch. The wait staff did a wonderful job and we’re very prompt with our order along with checking in to make sure everything was okay. I had the prime rib sandwich which I thought was just delicious and I also want to say the hors d’oeuvres that we ordered came out just perfectly.

Wonderful Atmosphere and Superb Customer Service! Sadly the chicken tenders have gone way down hill. Along with cold lifeless fries. Almost 50% breading vs actual chicken. And they were hard to chew. Overall I was disappointed. My wife and I went to Popeyes and were fully satisfied!

Had the “Fajita” special, and it was terrible. Someone had dumped a bucket load of salt into it and, along with the lukewarm wet fries, was the worst bar food I’ve ever had. The other plate was a cheeseburger about the size of a McDonalds happy meal, no lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no pickel offered, even McDonalds does that. The fries were the same, wet and lukewarm. Mulligans should just eliminate the food and stick with the beer, alcohol, pretzels, and popcorn as this place is obviously all about booze. What’s with the high salt in food = more beer sold thing? It’s an old tactic that drives customers away. We get it. Later.

The server was friendly, but owners don’t care about making customers happy. The alfredo had tomato in it, which is not typical, and wasn’t noted in the menu. When we complained and mentioned wanting to get something else, we were told the owner would still make us pay for the alfredo. The rest of the food was mediocre. It was also too warm, air was stagnant and stuffy.

St. Patrick’s day has corned beef and cabbage available but I wasn’t so hungry and got the Reuben, fries and a spotted cow. Reuben was good, served hot too. Fries have the skins on which I prefer. The place was packed so we were seated in the lower seating area that makes me feel like I’m in a cold dark cave.

It’s hard to give a low review, however Friday night fish was not spectacular. I ordered walleye and onion rings. The walleye was really over-fried, almost to the point of leather in some spots. I couldn’t eat parts of it. The onion rings came out at room temp but was the best part of my plate. The cod my gf had was better than the walleye. Overall not probably going to try again.

We came from Madison to Mulligans on St Patrick’s Day around 6:30pm thinking we will have to wait for awhile but we only waited about 15 or 20 minutes max . All the staff was friendly and professional. We had a great time .
