Admittedly not from the area, came into town from Detroit for business and needed dinner after a long day…and holy heck, they hit it out of the park.
First, let’s talk about the steak fries. Is this a Chicago thing? You got the right idea because good lord were they delicious. Huge portion, huge size, crispy, golden brown and out of this world.
And the cherry on top, the Italian Beef. I hope ya’ll know how lucky you are to have access to such a perfect sandwich. In the mitten, nothing even comes close. It was tender, filled to the brim with steak and hot peppers and cheese and was exactly what I needed. Semi-religious experience for me. 1000/100, A++++.
There are members of my family who i love who I would gladly trade for one of their Italian Beef if hard pressed.
Mugs-Schaumburg, I appreciate the awesome food and the quick service.

Saturday was our first time ordering food from here. And it certainly won’t be our last. We ordered rib tips, half slab of ribs, fried chicken and fries. Our sides we’re the Au Gratin potatoes (outstanding), baked potato, side salad and coleslaw. 10/10 would recommend.

First of all Mug’s is a place I loved to order from. I’ve been eating at Mug’s for 30 years. It all started at Mugavero’s in Des Plaines. My go to place especially for ribs. When I moved to Streamwood I was thrilled when they opened up a Mug’s in Schaumburg. Was able to get my favorite ribs fairly close. Was great for years.
I am very upset now. I just ordered two full slab dinners from them. The last two times I ordered the ribs were very burnt and tough. I couldn’t eat my meal, it sucks when you pay and the food is horrible. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as things can happen. When I called today I informed them that the last two times my ribs were burnt and tough not edible. I asked the guy to please make sure that they are done right. He said “I’ll see what I can do” he should have said “I’ll make sure we get it right.” Pick up my food take it home. Guess what ribs are burnt, overcooked and tough. Not happy at all. I will not be going back. I specifically asked when I ordered to please not let this happen, guy must have not cared. So basically from my last 3 orders I’m out about $160 for ribs that were burnt, tough and not edible. My suggestion is if you decide to order from here especially the ribs have them open it in front of you and check them. Or stay away from this location. DP and Elk Grove have never screwed me. I am usually patient and forgiving I’ve worked in the food industry. 3 times in a row and let them know the issue and it wasn’t fixed is unacceptable. Unless I get contacted and something is done I will not be ordering from here again.

Such an amazing experience the cheese pull on their mozzarella sticks is great! The pizza was delicious such a great environment to watch a bears game.staff were very kind and helpful. Family friendly as well! And just when I thought things couldn’t get better, they brought out fresh popcorn!!!

Best THIN CRUST pizza in town! They are generous with the toppings. They offer a great, fresh, Caesar Salad. My FAVE pizza is the sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms Thin Crust Pizza. My 2nd FAVE pizza is their chicken pizza (w/ spinach, mushrooms, and basil). Their cheddar jalapeno poppers and fried chicken are also delish. You can order whole chicken pieces (i.e. Breasts, Legs, Wings, and Thighs) OR All Wings. *TO GO / DELIVERY SPOT.* Open Late Night… Open most nights until 3am.

Really small spot with 1 indoor table, so take out is the only option. They’re open til 3am, which is nice as most nearby places close at 10 or before. Really great gluten-free pizza and rib tips. Unfortunately, we had no utensils or napkins womp womp.

TLDR: the food was truly underwhelming.
First time customer. I got Italian beef, fries, and a sampler. The fries were cold and dry. Of the 3 things in the sampler, only the cheese sticks were good, which is why they’re missing from the photo. The chicken fingers were alright, but came without any BBQ or honey mustard sauce, and with little flavor of their own. The “buffalo wings” are a misnomer. Buffalo wings are normally dipped in buffalo sauce, and are not breaded. These wings were a complete miss. I can’t say there was anything objectively wrong with the beef sandwich, and it seemed fresh, but I just didn’t like it.

Honestly the pizza was not bad , ordered a double dough but it was very much not double dough was still very thing almost normal size crust which whatever that’s fine, however wth is this? Why is my cheesecake some random prepacked cheesecake? Online there was no mention that is was packaged cheesecake kinda sad about it thought i was going to be getting fresh cheesecake thats bigger than a twig. Upon opening said cheesecake i think i ended up even more upset to find out that there was no graham cracker crust.

After finishing a 12 hour drive home from the holidays I was excited to order from a favorite before I moved. Food got delivered ice cold and the Philly was delivered like this. I called to talk to a manager and was offered half of what I paid back, blaming this situation on short staffed. Working in the service industry no matter how short staffed you are, you give the still give 100% to the customers you do serve. If delivery was under staffed don’t overwhelm your staff to the point of non-acceptable food.
