Been eating here for 10+ years. Let’s be honest… Customer service was never a reason I came here. It was for the food. It’s always been awesome.
Fast forward to my last three visits… Food is slipping and customer service is getting even worse. Kids are behind the counter playing loudly and possibly in harm’s way of hot steaming food. They are going downhill in my opinion. They were late opening apparently today and noodles and sauce are all that is available on the buffet that I’ve already paid for. Sitting and waiting for them to bring out more.
Guess the old man who ran it has retired or sold it. I probably won’t be back. Sad… Was a lunch favorite of mine when working in the area. Even my kids liked it.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch. The food is normally great. Today though the lasagna sauce tasted scorched. They refused to change our order or give a refund. They were hateful and said our only option was to take it with us. We left and are now going somewhere else to eat. I will not return. I have eaten there for years. This was a total let down at a favorite eatery.

The food was good! Especially the Alfredo sauce. Not a big selection for lunch. We ate the buffet. It ended up being $23 for 2 people and that’s with ice water! They only had one pizza Option and would not bring out another until that one was gone! One of the ladies stood behind the counter on her phone the entire time. Her prerogative I guess, but unprofessional in my opinion. Was not offered a refill as no one came from behind the counter!! They use CHEAP flimsy paper plates! I almost dropped my salad!! It’s a really tiny, dark, and dirty little joint. I moved away from the window due to the dirty blinds. The service is horrible. I would not suggest eating here. Especially for the price. Maybe a to go order instead. I will not be going back. The service and atmosphere outweighs the food being tasty.

This is a very tiny place with about 7 tables, but they also have an outdoor patio area. They always check ID on debit/credit cards, though. Sometimes it’s annoying if you leave yours in the car and have to walk all the way back around to the back parking lot to get it. The employees are horrible, rude, and very argumentative. Get the buffet; its probably the cheapest way to try a few different things (especially the cheese ravioli!!!). I think its about $11 with a drink and tax. The food is amazing and not typical of something you would find in Bessemer.

I used to eat here all the time when I was younger and pizzas were always good. Today I wanted to let my son experience some good Italian food. But what we got was TERRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered a Muffaleetta for myself, and the Buffett for my 8 yr old son. It cost $20. I was wrongfully accused of stealing a salad as I cut the lettuce for my son. I asked to cashier to apologize for her accusation as I got ready to leave. She refused. Because I was upset, I called back to complain once I got home. She answered the phone and I was not allowed to speak with the manager. She even hung up in my face. NEVER GOING BACK. And based on other post, I don’t think I will be getting a call back.

Food is excellent.
I normally get the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich and it’s wonderful.
I’ve never dined in, I always call in and by the time I drive the 7 miles to the restaurant, my order is usually ready to go.
I’ve never had rude service there, but if they were ever rude to me, I would still eat there.

We went to eat the lunch buffet. It was over $11 and half of what was advertised to be on the bar wasn’t. The staff is EXTREMELY rude. Also there were roaches everywhere. Most were crawling on the buffet wall and under the hot plates.
When the staff was told about the roaches, there response was that an exterminator had been there that day to spray and that’s why there were so many.
Will never ever be back!

It was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant in my whole entire life. I was very shocked when I had to wait in the drive thru for 35 minutes because the lady who has short hair ” didn’t see me” as she says in her drive thru as she continued to ring up customers on the inside when they were there after me. Also I ordered 30 mins before I had to show up and didn’t have what I actually normally get in the first place. But I still liked them so I decided to still get something. But when I went inside and simply asked the lady why I have been sitting out there she says she didn’t see me but I only go thru the drive thru when I go there which is frequently! I’m very dissapointed the way she talked to me as I was very upset myself but as I should have been after already wait that long. Taking a whole out for some spaghetti that ridiculous! I will NOT be back and it’s sad because me and my family go in there all the time. But I will NOT be talked to be crazy by anyone as the customers is what pays your bill!

I never do reviews but I am so very disappointed in the service I received today I have been eating at this establishment since the early 2000s and I never had a problem until here lately. I am finding out that since the grandson Who had been running it has not been as involved the quality of service and food has went down tremendously which is really sad. Today I ordered 2 Chicken Alfredo plates with extra bread when I received the plate there was only a little chicken on one plate and none on the other and that wasn’t the only issue I called and sent the plate back and was told they only give out a small amount of chicken now remember I am a regular customer from dine in to carry out so I know how much chicken is placed on a plate but I went on and paid for more chicken just because anyone could have a bad day but I did not taste the product before I took it back well after everything was said and done the sauce tasted like it had been water down the flavor was completely off I end up throwing it way and went to Logans. He need to bring his grandson Back on full time I think his name was Brian !!!!!!

I think the staff had changed, which is great. The lady working the counter was extremely friendly and nice. The review saying that she was on the phone must have not realized that they take a lot of call in orders.
