A visit to the Jersey shore isn’t complete without a visit to Mueller’s. Their crumb cake is to die for (that crumb to cake ratio!!) and everything else is excellent too. This trip we tried their blueberry tart and there must be a quart of blueberries on that bad boy. If you’re in the neighborhood, go. If it’s a Saturday or Sunday morning, be prepared to wait. Like an hour. But it will be worth it.

This little bakery was so quaint and cute. The display cases were beautifully laid out with many different breads, cakes, cookies, pastries and danishes, bagels. Bagels. It was very popular on the Saturday morning that we visited and we were waited on pretty quickly.

This is a great bakery with great desserts and pastries and very nice employees. It’s very popular. Take a number and wait your turn–it’s worth it. Our favorites are the apple fritters (you may not see them but be sure to ask anyway), crumb cake and any cake to celebrate any occasion.

After hearing from my sorority sister who works there about it for 15 years I finally visited and damn was it worth the wait! For the crumb to cake ratio alone! They also sell the crumbs by themselves which I highly recommend you microwave and put on top of ice cream! I also got a petit four which tasted like a love match between marzipan and cake dipped in gorgeous icing. I also got a brownie which was similar to the petit four in how moist, light and flavorful it was! I would love to go back and try absolutely everything! Jersey has some of the best bakeries I’ve been to throughout the world and this one is the epitome of what makes them so great! Beautiful variety, lovely service and absolutely delicious treats!

Long long wait if you go at peak time but we’ll worth the wait – they never disappoint. Idea – have pre-packaged things that are always ordered and dedicate a cashier to simply check that out with coffee – might move people through a lot faster during peak times?

There isn’t enough words to express how much I love this bakery! Their pastries are always so fresh and the crumb cake is THE BEST around and that is not a joke! Staff is always so friendly and even though they are always busy they always get you in and out fairly quickly
