I found out about this great bakery from an old coworker. As soon as you enter, this place may seem a bit small, but they have a really good selection of decorated cakes and cupcakes, pastries, and assorted cookies by the pound. They also sell other assorted items such as mugs and T-shirts. The bakery is clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I got one of the best-selling pudding cakes as per the staffs recommendation and a couple of pounds of assorted cookies. The apple pudding cake is truly fantastic. It was so light and fluffy and not too sweet. The cookies I tried had a nice buttery taste to them.
The prices here are not too bad, especially for this area. The cake was not expensive, but the cookies by the pound were a bit costly, and it was worth every penny.
I see that this bakery has been around for many years. Based on the quality of the baked goods I have tried, I could truly see why this place stood the test of time. I recommend checking this place out, and I will most definitely return the next time I am in the area.

Mueller’s Bakery is a nice old fashioned bakery with a great variety of pastries and cakes to satisfy every taste.
If you want to try one of their best treats, try their cheese cups. They are delicious.
You may also like their fruit pockets, eclairs, donuts, banana bread and wide selection of cookies.
The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent.

If you’re looking for the world’s best crumb cake, Mueller’s Bakery has it and a lot more! Old school bakery with some of the best tasting pastries you’ll ever have. And if you’re gluten intolerant, well Mueller’s is your gluten-free nirvana. I’ve never seen so many options. Words do not do this place justice—go try it for yourself. Just go early and get a number when you come in because there will be a line, but it is so worth the wait!

You better come here with a sweet tooth and a few extra bucks than your used to spending. Can’t selection of sweet treats but not without the price tag. Great place overall, personal opinion is its jam packed and the ordering system is a number by ticket. When I was there, may not always be the case I couldn’t hear nor visually see what number they were on. That and the price for a cookie ($4 buck and above) seems to be a little high. (Personal opinion)

Always a favorite. Sunrise in Bay Head the a stop off here for crumb bun! Recently a DIFFERENT experience…finished lunch at Charlie’s w/ amazing friends. HAD to stop & get a crumb bun at Mueller’s! On the short walk there, in total glee, they were gently swinging their four year old granddaughter. Plot twist, all three of them fell! Immediately, an angel of a Good Samaritan went into Muellers to get water. The Staff invited the four old behind the counter, provided wet towels to clean up her scrapes + gave her a cookie. The kindness was off the charts. Now that they’re totally recovered, the joke has become…

A visit to the Jersey shore isn’t complete without a visit to Mueller’s. Their crumb cake is to die for (that crumb to cake ratio!!) and everything else is excellent too. This trip we tried their blueberry tart and there must be a quart of blueberries on that bad boy. If you’re in the neighborhood, go. If it’s a Saturday or Sunday morning, be prepared to wait. Like an hour. But it will be worth it.

Mueller’s Bakery gave us the wedding cake of our dreams. For our beach-themed cake, we wanted something unique, with a sense of humor, but still a bit romantic. So we sent them reference photos of my and my husband’s real-life bathing suits, and on top of our delicious two-tier cake, our toppers were two beach chairs and our little bathing suits made of fondant. (The joke was that our topper bride and groom ditched the cake and ran off skinny dipping.) They even put little footprints in the cookie-crumble sand on the top of the cake. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with how it turned out, and how it tasted!

This little bakery was so quaint and cute. The display cases were beautifully laid out with many different breads, cakes, cookies, pastries and danishes, bagels. Bagels. It was very popular on the Saturday morning that we visited and we were waited on pretty quickly.
We went in for the crumb bun because we heard that it was a favorite and it did not disappoint! We ordered a whole box which had around 8 or 9 pieces and we had it covered in confectionary sugar. My daughter also got a frozen picture cookie. She had her choice from so many cute Easter cookies and cupcakes but chose Frozen lol.
We had actually gone to Baron’s bagel shop as well and they had Mueller’s crumb bun cream cheese there so we got to try that too! That cream cheese was so amazing and paired perfectly with our French toast bagel.
We will definitely be visiting them again in the future!
