Can’t go wrong! Everything on the menu is superb. Sean, Jen, and staff are always friendly and service-oriented. Recommend any dish on the menu for dinner in/take out as well as catering!

Cute, small & cozy. The service was very nice. The dishes were unique and good. It is a converted railroad depot on a sparsely traveled rail line, so your meal is rarely interrupted by the roar of a passing train. We enjoyed the cozy meal.

First visit and fascinated by the history of the depot. Looks original and a nice feeling sitting there with a very welcoming staff. I had the Sunday special that included entree, appetizer and desert for $18.99 and my wife had the chicken pot pie for $10.99. I would recommend they add additional seasonings to the foods. Will be back when they have there Sunday turkey dinner special. Was a very nice relaxing dining experience that even included soft background music from the past.

A friend of mine and I went for dinner in August. We were looking forward to dinner. I ordered a fish fry. The fish was not the same fish as in the past. It was different and fried with a dark tinge to it. The rest of my dinner was fine. My friend ordered Chicken Parmesan. The chicken arrived huge and over fried with a large bump of something on the crust. She cut into the chicken and it was dry as a bone; no flavor. We asked the server about the new chef and she said he had lots of spices he mixed together and puts them on the food. We would rather the chicken be covered with salt, pepper and bread crumbs than an array of Indian seasonings. She sent her dinner back. The chicken was inedible. It was a huge disappointment to us and our wallets!

Check the website for the hours open for dining. The resturant is involved with community so certain days of the week the resturant is closed for catering and community events. A comfortable atmosphere with two model trains on the ceiling which work. Lots of good paraphernalia in which brings you back to the day of people gathering in the train station while waiting to ride the train. I highly reccomed the steak which is cooked on a charcoal grill in the kitchen.( the host shared this fact with us) I ordered the small steak which could be considered a large. Portions are generous. The entree came with a nice portion of brustle sprouts with a side of dipping butter. Delicious! Cooked how I like! A nice crunchy bite. My second side was the house salad. (I upgraded) fresh and a large sized house salad. The appetizer I chose was the small corn chowder. It reminded me of the chowder Grandma made! Nice warm rolls which melt in your mouth are included with entree. Our server was friendly prompt and shared some interesting information about the resturant. This resturant has history personality quaint has a diverse menu which includes healthy choices signature dish is the pot pie and is family owned. And prices are good! Nice to be able to dine out and afford to during inflation.Thank you D &R resturant! We look forward to dining with you again

I got together with friends here this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was my first time at this restaurant, the staff were super accommodating to adding people to my reservation. Very friendly staff all around. Food was good. I got the Pittsburgh salad and it was delicious! The dressing was awesome and paired so well with the salad. It was a very large portion, I wasn’t able to finish it! And the price wasn’t too bad. The ladies room was so pretty too. I chose this spot because it’s not too far from the Genesee country village and museum so if you’re looking for a spot to eat before or after visiting GCVM I highly recommend this spot.

Come here for the old world charm… and to be inspired by a 90 year old lady that runs this place.
You’d be greeted with freshly baked warm muffins and butter. Ordered bruschetta, a couple of pastas, and a chocolate brownie… everything was amazing and made to perfection… the only thing that beats the amazing food is the warm service… almost everyone has been working here for a long time and everyone is passionate about this place and their guests… you can’t get this kind of food and this level of service at really high end / expensive restaurants…
This place has an additional advantage… it’s was right on our way from Niagara to NYC/NJ.
Will definitely stop here every time I am on Thai route.
