We got the meat platter and it was delicious! We also got the special of the day, pork tacos. It was hard to decide what we liked best. I loved the ribs and my son loved the sausage, but everything was really good. The greek pasta salad was full of flavor and so was the curry chickpea salad. We also splurged and had dessert while we watched the Jays game. The apple crisp was amazing and so was the carrot cake. You really can’t go wrong with any of the choices. On top of that, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!
It’s also dog friendly on the patio for your canine friends.

Yummy! Brisket on a bun with a pile of carmlyzed onions. Brisket was tender fall apart good! Sauce was just right not too hot or spicy. Ribs fell right off the bone. Sides were ok but the meat is the star of the show. Take out or limited outdoor seating. Street parking.

hop out the car and you’re immediately hit with delicious smokey smells. Lots of options on the menu, including pork, beef, mac and cheese and poutine. Our beef brisket sandwich and medium chilli nachos came out to about $30. The menu and sizing can be a bit confusing as everything is priced by weight, also slowing down the ordering process. The young man taking orders would also take each order then immediately make the food, rather than taking the orders of a group then making food.
Where they lack in efficiency, they make up for in food quality and flavour. All the food was made to perfection and delicious!
We sat in the sheltered outdoor patio area, where there are large picnic tables. I imagine you’d need to share a table with others during busier times. Very rural feel that we enjoyed, I’d definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area.

I don’t eat ribs…BUT….I definitely eat Muddy’s ribs!!!
The sauce is so tasty and sweet without the sticky fingers!!

What a fun experience!
It starts with the sides…a young man, super friendly, dishes you up your choice of side….I chose the coleslaw and the Mac and cheese. Now the coleslaw was amazing! Crunchy, sweet and creamy…everything I want in a slaw!
The mac and cheese I was disappointed…its one of my favs but its a cold salad and sadly, they throw green peppers in the mix…give me a soul soothing, comfort food mac and cheese and you would have me wrapped.
I ordered the brisket and some ribs, and my husband ordered a brisket on a bun. His lean, mine marbled…a great marbled brisket never hurt anyone!
I grabbed the drinks and the salad and went to the table while my guy paid and waited for our meats.
Sadly, I didnt get my ribs, but thats ok…I had MORE than enough food to make my way through. The brisket soooooo tender! The Carolina sauce soooo delicious with the meat. Meat heaven! Everything is charged by the pound….
Im glad I didnt get my ribs, it means a return trip!

Very good BBQ with flavourful food served in no-nonsense, rustic surroundings. We went for the recommended sampler for 2 and this was a good sized lunch portion but you may want to compliment it with additional sides or double up on the meat options if you are hungry. The sampler includes brisket, one sausage, pulled pork and 2 ribs so next time I would get additional ribs. We also added beans and they were fantastic. Currently there is no seating available (inside or out) but they normally would have picnic tables outside. On the weekend I would suggest arriving early if going there for lunch (before 11.45) because it can get busy and the ordering process is a bit slower these days. Oh, and their original sauce is great – definitely grab a bottle.
