When I worked in Medford, I’d go to the restaurant on Main Street. When I moved a bit east, I started going to the one on Vilas. Service at both places is great!!
I think one of their most underrated burritos they serve is the Conga burrito. Carne Asada, beans, rice, and enchilada sauce! Delicious! I’m not a fan of sour cream, tomatoes, or guacamole.

I ordered a Carne asada torta after reading a positive review on Google, and it was actually really good . The meat was marinated or at least nicely seasoned , and not full of gristle which I like , the bread was buttered and nicely toasted , and it was a big portion . I also ordered the green salsa on the side and it had a really great flavor . I’d try this place again to see how other items are , but the other review on the tortas on here was spot on .

Ordered a breakfast burrito from the Vilas location that only came with dry bacon and a little bit of cheese and old soggy french fries. I couldn’t even eat it. Also ordered a supreme carne asada burrito that was only asada and some guacamole. Nothing else…. Wish I would’ve spent my money elsewhere.

The worst I’ve ever had from MG. This was the first time going to the Vilas location. They don’t have to go containers with separate dividers. So all the beans & rice are on the bottom and your main food gets put on that. I only live 3 minutes away, but my tostada was basically an open face soft taco completely coated in beans when I got home. My crunchy taco was also covered in beans. It was all a disaster to eat, I didn’t even bother with the tostada being so soggy. I also asked for “EASY” lettuce, but it was apparently Opposite Day and I didn’t know. There was probably an entire head of lettuce on everything.

Stopped for lunch as working in the area. Got the burger special (burger, fries, small drink). Service was excellent, very quick. Huge burger, actually a double with bacon & cheese. Excellent value, and the fries were perfect. Wondering why I never stopped before. I should have taken a picture, but I was hungry and it hit the spot!!

Always amazing food here. This most recent time I tried their Birria tacos and they are some of the best I’ve had in the area. Their Chimichanga is my favorite and well worth the price! Definitely my favorite lunch spot when I get Mexican food for lunch.
