This place has really done a good job with the remodel, In and out was 40 minutes total which I thought was a great pace. Food was warm. I had a rueban and it was very good with a generous portion of fries. Cold 2 for one beer is an awesome addition. I hope people are will to give this place a second chance after the remodel, I’m so glad I did!

Checked out a new place tonight … will not be back.
Giving a 5 star rating because after posting a review on their Facebook page they removed it and took down the Facebook page. With a five star I’m assuming they won’t take it down like it sounds like they did to others from the comments. Taking down reviews is not only wrong but petty! Apparently they are not willing to learn and grow from the feedback so I don’t assume they will be in business for long.
25 minute wait for two salads and a cup of soup … granted if they were busy I would understand – there are exactly 5 tables with customers and two waitresses. Very nice staff but sooooo slow!
Food was nothing special … Caesar salad with chicken served on a smoking hot plate and chicken was cold (bagged Caesar from the grocery store is much fresher and flavorful) soup was most definitely out of a can and heated up in a microwave … was hot but zero flavor.
Disappointed to say the least!

This place will not be around long I don’t think. We waited for our server to come back for at least 15 minutes to take our order. There were only 3 other groups of people in there. I understand with them being understaffed but this is uncalled for. My husband wanted the country fried steak. The server asked how he wanted it done. It is cooked all the way. There was another family in there too and they waited for along time and were there before us. Thry also left without their food since they waiting for over 45 minutes. I also think k they need alittle more training on their menu. And maybe wait until you are fully up and running to be open. I think the people who owned Emma Krumbrees would be ashamed about how this place is going.

We arrived on a Monday (Jan 3rd) when it wasn’t real busy (about 3:00 pm). There were only 2 other people in the restaurant sitting in a booth. It said “wait to be seated” but after a 5 minute wait, I walked back into the kitchen to ask for help. The cook said to take a seat and someone would be out.
A wait staff person came out and took our orders. Most orders advertised coleslaw, but they were out. No substitutions we’re offered and no discount was given on the bill. We asked for a salad instead and they were out of that too. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it arrived very overcooked and dry. All of our orders came similarly overcooked to where it was hard to eat without something to wash it down to make it moist. We had to find someone to give us refills on our drinks. Given that I saw at least two waitstaff on duty, there was no excuse for the poor service. There should be no excuse for the poor food either.

I’ve tried 3 times now to give this restraunt the benefit of the doubt and they haven’t succeeded yet. The first time I was not able to get a seat after waiting 20 minutes so we left. The second time me and my girl went down and they said they could only do deep fryed foods, so we left. Just last night we went down with some family that was staying with us. Drinks took forever as there was only one employee able to make drinks and he was busy cooking. The steak my cousin got was over cooked, tough and 3 of our dinners didn’t come with veggies or rolls like they are supposed to. We ordered loaded potatoes but recieved plain potatoes, when we brought this up to our server she brought the plates back to the cook and he put 2 pads of butter in them and sent them back out. Definitely not what a loaded potato is. I felt bad because the server could tell we were upset but she was probably 15 or 16 and it’s not her fault so I didn’t complain. I don’t know if the issue is not enough staff or no training or what, but in my opinion the owner should be there every day all day if that’s what it takes to build a reputation and make sure things are going smooth. Also the cook should know what meals come with for sides and shouldn’t have to be reminded. Not impressed, probably done going back here.

It’s odd. I wrote a review in August, that and all the other bad reviews were gone, site and all. I figured they closed because of all the bad comments. I’m sad to see still 60 days later, similar complaints are ramping up. When I was there, very few young staff, all very confused. The menu was identical to Emma Krumbees. Dirty tables everywhere. I ordered the beef commercial. It arrived ice cold. I’m not exaggerating. I asked the waitress to touch it so she could see I wasn’t being extreme. It had sat so long the gravy congealed. We waited 45 minutes for our waitress to check on us. Finally she stopped at a table, but they told her to help me first they could see I’d been sitting forever not touching my food. Bad service. Mediocre food, the manager finally answered my post explaining the managers are all in the back cooking. But to be invisible in a brand new restaurant, I am frustrated they took down the old site which had 60-90 days of 1 star reviews. They are past the “I’m new” don’t open unless you are better prepared. We love supporting local. The manager asked us to comeck, but it was just that bad. Thernly about 5 tables with customers at the time of our visit on a Saturday around 5pm.

Worst service I have EVER experienced. 12/19/2021 around noon. Standing at the entrance, by the sign that states we need to wait for a server to be seated. This place was new to me and was NOT very busy. I had been there when it was Emma Krubee’s and it was great. The Host hollers from back by the kitchen, “I be there in a second” 5 minutes later, after he rings up a bill and pockets the tip in his pocket. He comes out and says “just 2″ Yes we replied and he handed me 2 menu’s and pointed towards the back of the dining area and mumbles something and walks away. We went and found a spot to sit and then I said to my GF ” I am very offended by the host attitude”. We turned around and left. If we were suppose to seat ourselves, why have the sign? With how we were treated, I assume we would have been required to wash our own dishes and pay their out of their mind prices as well. The host couldn’t be bothered to do his job. Thin, dark haired guy as host, that doesn’t know how to host. What a waist of our time and energy. I have been treated better in a dive bar.

Awesome food and good prices with big portions. I love what they did with the remodel. They are understaffed, so for the love of God people need to be patient. They’re doing amazingly with what they have. I hope more people give them a chance cause the food is delicious and the staff they do have are friendly!

Didn’t see us waiting to be seated. Should’ve taken the empty parking lot as a warning. Despite only 2 other tables with customers, nearly 30 min wait for food. Toast burned, served dry with butter on side? Hash browns are actual shredded potatoes but they were served raw, still crunchy, simply inedible. Eggs & coffee ok. This place is destined to be closed soon if they don’t improve food & service.
