Wait staff was very friendly. Tables are spaced well. They made the pineapple dish with shrimp and scallops instead of the meat. The pineapple was excellent but the rest was pretty bland. Beans and rice with guacamole were all good. The mango salsa chicken dish was reportedly fine but there are no mango pieces, just mango flavor.

Excellent food and prices!! I had one fish and one shrimp tacos with guacamole – holy cow, they were delicious! So good, I ate the whole thing! Nice atmosphere and our server Benjamin T was top notch! Looks like the back bar area is fun on the weekends with pool tables and big TVs.

This restaurant was great. I got vegetarian option #1. The red sauce for the burrito was particularly good. The service was kind and welcoming. The interior was very spacious and decorated in a subdued and calming way. To summarize: this is a great place to grab a meal. If we’re ever in Lexington again, we’ll be back.

I have recently moved here from Arizona and we have yet to find Mexican food as good as the food in Arizona until my family and I came to eat here. My dad ordered the enchiladas, my mom ordered the chimichangas and I ordered the street tacos. This was the best restaurant I have been to in Virginia. The food quality was the best I’ve ever had especially here in Lexington. If you’re looking for some good food definitely go to Muchacho Alegre. The family if staff were so nice as well and you know that they put love and passion into to what they do.
