MsSo holds officially open in downtown Montrose
Reviews
Tried out the newest and most delicious modern Asian noodle bar in Montrose!
Came here for their grand opening and WeSo loved it!
Located in the heart of downtown Montrose on Main Street and Cascade Ave…this restaurant is super cute, quant and offers table seating, window seating, a larger group table/communal seating and bar seating (one that’s actually bar-side) and the food? It was off the hook!
Here’s a rundown of what we ordered:
Drinks:
Sake Margarita
Sake Mule
Hakushika Tanuki Sake
Chilled Plum Sake Wine
Appetizer:
MsSo Spring Rolls with Sriracha
Dinner:
Half order of MsSo’s Signature Fried Chicken – Japanese style marinated in soy, mirin & sake…finished off with their special spice mix and served with pickled ginger and a selection of their house sauces (omg…so tender, juicy and battered to perfection!)
Mee Korat – Rice Noodles, Stir Fried Garlic, Chilies, Egg, Bean Sprouts & Spring Onion with Chicken (so delish!!!)
The entire staff was very professional, attentive and friendly!
Such a tasty addition to the Montrose community! Can’t wait to come back! IsSo yummy! You gotta check them out!
They don’t take reservations…it’s walk-in only for now and super busy so walk fast and enjoy!
We started with Shishito Peppers and the Mushroom Dip- both were mighty tasty.
I tried the House Fried Chicken and my mom had a Chicken Noodle dish. The Fried Chicken was a huge portion- even the half order left enough to take home and it was delicious, especially with some of the house made Chili Crunch. Yum! Mom loved her noodle dish as well as her side of Brussel Sprouts. Rounded everything out with fried Bao Buns stuffed with Vanilla Ice Cream and a Condensed Milk drizzle…..the flavor profile screams funnel cake and it was super fun to eat.
Our server, Lisa, was fantastic. She made a tasty mocktail for me and gave us plenty of suggestions.
It’s a little tight in there, not much room to spread your wings, but cozy nonetheless.
A refreshing novelty for our little town. Will definitely be back! Loved it!
Our server was attentive, warm, snd personable. Food came out quickly and was perfectly prepared. Cocktails were crisp and refreshing. Last but not least, the ambiance is classy yet inviting. Combining modernity with the buildings early 20th century heritage, the carved ceiling refinished in a warm metallic bronze paint is such a lovely touch.
Oh and I was presently surprised how reasonably priced the meal was!
