Great little family-owned and operated place off the beaten path. We’ve been there several times and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend the catfish, which is lightly breaded and comes with the best hush puppies I’ve ever had. If it’s not too busy, take time to talk to the owner–she’s got a great story to tell about how the restaurant came about and some of the obstacles they had to go through to make it happen. Definitely worth taking a detour off of I-44, but remember they’re only open Thursday-Saturday.
