I’ve always enjoyed Miss Goody’s for breakfast, but I tried their lunch today. The fried chicken was seasoned wonderfully and almost perfectly crispy. The yams were fresh and cooked perfectly. The banana pudding cake was absolutely outstanding the best I’ve Ever had. Now the downside, the greens seemed like pre-cut bagged greens, unseasoned where is the smoked meat and love? The mac and cheese had overcooked noodles, with the sauce separating. The catfish was mushy inside and lacked seasoning. The haddock was too crunchy outside and too soft inside. The potato salad tasted like doctored grocery store potato salad. The peach cobbler was decent. However, the banana pudding cake and the exceptional customer service… truly top-notch!!! made the experience memorable. Overall, some hits and misses, but I’d definitely come back for that dessert!

You get three sides with a dinner. The butter beans and collard greens were scorched so those went in the trash. The potato salad is definitely Walmart potato salad from the bucket so if you want homemade don’t get it. The dinner was $24 and all I could eat was the piece of fish. That was the first and last time I’ll be there. I don’t recommend this place.

Catfish breakfast is my all time favorite from Ms Goodies. She is a sweet lady. The only issue is the consistency is lacking, they open at different times each day. I’ve came a few times when I was supposed to be open and it was closed. I wish they would put a sign with accurate times and a working phone number.

This place was one of the highlights of my Buffalo trip.The food is fresh, hot, and DEE-LISH-US. The owner is very humble and friendly and the location is good with adequate parking. This is a top notch BOB and you will likely see many people from the neighborhood eating and having great conversation while you are there. This is a place you must visit if in the area or passing through to get to Niagara falls as we did. Breakfast here is the BOMB

First time customer. I went for catfish, it was delicious but it was on Friday and the sides I wanted weren’t available until Sunday when the full menu is offered. I’ll be there! Great service, friendly atmosphere,the home fries and potato salad were delicious!

The signage instructions are to call and place orders. There was a option of 2 phone numbers, neither numbers were answered. Unfortunately, someone was inside of the restaurant however no one bothered to provide service. They are under construction and advise to call the orders in. Not!

Went here on a whim and boy was that the right call! Had the Fried chicken dinner ($13.50) which came with a whole half of a chicken and three sides. Also enjoyed a cup of kool-aid, because when in Rome .
The chicken was delicious and juicy. Seasoned well and so big. The three sides I had were: Mac and Cheese, Yams, and Cabbage. They were all bomb!
Added a slice of thick cut Yellow cake with chocolate icing to top off the meal and that was definitely the second best call I made of the day (after choosing to eat here originally, of course)
The atmosphere inside reminds me of eating meals at my grandparents places for family gatherings/events and that was a perfect feel for this type of down home, soulfood cooking!
