Was excited for the reopening, and it did not disappoint. Atmosphere was pleasant, and the workers were kind and attentive not only to my needs but other customers!

Would recommend the breakfast burrito, they packed it full of goodness!

Took my mom and aunt there for lunch. They use to go there in the 50s. It was one of the best memories my mom. Her telling me stories about when they were kids. And the food and service was amazing. I would highly suggest going there.

Not a bad little place, food was very generous. Waitress was pretty new, but trying her best, cook was grouchy with her and just put out a bad vibe. Definitely need to cheer up!

Delicious food, excellent quality. Recommend the cowboy burger and Black&bleu salad. The fries are nice and crispy on the outside, soft and hot inside- perfectly seasoned. Affordable prices, perfectly big portions. Good coffee. Cash only, ATM available.

I’m from just outside of Philly and always come here when I’m in the Pittsburgh area. It does not disappoint. Great staff, fair prices, and good food.

We had an early morning meeting in Brownsville and stopped here for a quick bite. This cool 50’s style diner is located along the waterfront. We were quickly seated and served. My wife and I split a Steak and Cheese Omelet with home fries. Excellent omelet! The frozen mini cut potatoes were very bland. That delicious omelet deserves better. Friendly service got us in and out in time for our scheduled meeting.

Kids swear the pancakes and French toast were the “very best.” Please see photos for menu.

My husband and I finally went to Fiddle’s Diner around 1:30 pm today. My husband decided on the fish sandwich, and I decided on the chicken tenders basket, everything tasted very good. The waitress is very pleasant, and made sure we had everything we needed for our lunch there. We both decided that we have to go back and try the shake’s there. Very friendly atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Fiddle’s Diner to others.

I had lunch there, on Saturday, June 22nd. As always, Fiddles doesn’t disappoint. The food and service were both Excellent. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, back in the 1970’s. I have fond memories and a love for Fiddles. Every time I visit Brownsville, I stop in here for something to eat. Usually it’s a hot dog. They have the BEST Hot Dogs in the World…!!! PS, I got their BLT Hot Dog and it was Delicious…!!!

*The new owners have really done an incredible job with the restaurant! Food is served in a timely manner, and the wait staff is very attentive. The food steals the show now! The pancakes are delicious, and the steak omelett is huge and filling! By all means, give Fiddles a try *

Fiddles is a local landmark in the small town of Brownsville, Pennsylvania. I’ve been been coming to the restaurant since I could walk and many of the locals have been frequenting the diner since they were teenagers. The food is good with a variety of menu options. Be warned though, there is usually only one cook and one server. Be prepared to wait at least a half hour to 45 minutes for your meal. This is a very small town, and the diner is a focal point for the locals to meet up and exchange the daily news. It’s more of a center for meeting up with old friends. This is a social place and you’ll meet some interesting characters. Just let go of your stress, enjoy the coffee, people watch, and above all take your time. Fiddles is an artifact of a bygone era of coal mining and steel mills. The names etched into the booths represent a history of whose-who from the town. Enjoy the great hot dogs and chilli. Don’t be surprised if they are out of items. View your visit as an anthropologist like myself would. Enjoy!
