Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream Parlor - Toms River, NJ 08753

My family and I have been going to Mrs. Walker’s for years and never had a negative experience until tonight. We saw that they were open until 10:30 pm so my sister & I decided to go at 10 to get ice cream. Okay we understand it was only a half hour before they closed but we wouldn’t have been in the shop for more than 10 minutes and that’s pushing it. But as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we saw the one girl behind the counter check her watch. When we walked up to the door we noticed the door was locked so we checked the other door and it was also locked. We then knocked on the door just to see if they were closed and the girls inside wouldn’t even look at us they were just laughing so we knocked again and we heard the one girl say “oh they’re knocking” and the other girl looked at us and laughed so we said “are you guys closed” and as they were laughing they said yes. Now we’re not mad that they closed early that’s fine we’re just upset at the way that they handled the situation. They could have had respect for us as customers instead of ignoring us as we were at the door and just told us that they were closed.

Finally made it here. My soft serve choc was good my hubbys butter almond he enjoyed i just thought the place would have more choices? But it was good i only gave the stars above bcuz my expectation of how the place was inside and flavors but otherwise its good icecream and good service

Scouting for the Golden Cone App I ordered the almond Joy flavor. Really did not have that much to the speciality flavor. Not much coconut or almonds, could have used a lot more. I love the outside of the Ice Cream Parlor. All of the colors are eye catching and work well.. Based on the other reviews, maybe I should have ordered a different flavor, but I am comparing this to the other Ice Cream places around the state. I would go back again.

Great place but…
Going there for over 20 years with all my family and friends… great Ice cream, but i had bad experience today…
I was waiting in line and all the sudden, some lady walked in and cut the line…
I pointed that out to stuff (5 times) but no one cared.
When i talked to one of the girls at the register, she said “there is nothing they can do about it”.
So… i canceled my order and left…
Since today, we not going back for some time… ‍♂️

Hands down, the best ice cream ever. I’ve been coming here for years and I’m obsessed with their ice cream! I always get a soft serve with either sprinkles or gummy bears.. there’s nothing like Mrs. Walker’s! The banana splits are also good!! Very friendly atmosphere too!

They have really good ice cream here! It’s a really nice family owned, homemade ice cream place and we love coming here. The staff is really nice and they’ll let you sample all of the different flavors.
