Super cute local spot. Fun dive bar, they had live music/performances. Beer was good, good selection of drinks. The Shepard’s pie was okay tho. I’d come here again to get hammered.

Pretty decent place for pub food. Atmosphere is great. Fish & chips were really good. Place is small so it gets filled up fast which can make the service slower.

We stopped here for lunch randomly and it was so good! There are lots of places to eat nearby, so it was difficult to choose where to go. We used to have a nice little Irish place near our house many years ago and I miss it, so we picked this place. The food was really good. I had the fish sandwich. It had just the right amount of slaw and sauce. We ordered the curry fries and the honey feta dip to share. Both were flavorful and delicious. The soup could have used a little more salt, but overall, everything was great. The lunch special was super affordable and you get a ton of food. I’d eat here again in a heartbeat whenever we’re in the neighborhood.
The staff was super nice and the atmosphere was fun. There’s a bar area that has a large tv and bar top service. The place is decorated with Irish memorabilia and trinkets. And there’s meter parking on the street. Overall 4.5 stars

We visited on Saturday @5pm St. Patrick’s day weekend. The place was packed! We were committed to wait for a table, so we grabbed a drink from the bar. Once seated, the service was amazing ,friendly and efficient. For starters the Eileen’s Feta Dip was so tasty. Our entrees were the Veggie Shepherds Pie and a Reuben with fries. Both were Absolutely delicious and exactly what we’re craving. They have an impressive cocktail, beer, bourbon and whiskey menu. Super inviting atmosphere, live music was a nice bonus. Overall, great experience! We’re so excited to have this as an option in Medford Square. See you soon.

Mrs. Murphy’s is such a cozy new spot with a warm, welcoming vibe and food that seriously delivers. The fish and chips were huge—fresh, crispy, and totally hit the spot. And the English breakfast? Absolutely nailed it. You can tell a lot of thought went into the menu, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful.
Service-wise, there are definitely still a few growing pains, but that’s to be expected with a new place. The staff was friendly enough and clearly working hard, and the food made it more than worth it.
All around a fantastic experience—and I’m really looking forward to coming back as they settle in!

The fish and chips was an admirable showing. The fish was perfectly flaky with a light, crispy batter. What also stood out was the coleslaw—a side sometimes overlooked, but here it was quite good. It was a fresh and tangy complement to the meal. Without a doubt, this is one of the better spots for fish and chips in the area.

I wonder if we went on an off night, because the reviews really set the expectation that the food would be great. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The steak and ale pie was almost too salty, and I usually love salty food. The fish and chips looked amazing, but the fish seemed over battered and undercooked. There was liquid, uncooked batter inside, so my husband ended up picking the fish out of what was otherwise inedible. The burger was decent and might be worth ordering.
The bar service was okay, if a bit slow. I did love the atmosphere and the thoughtfully done decor (love the Women of Ireland wall!) They have Strongbow on tap, which I do not see often. For those reasons, I would go back to give it another try. However, if I ordered the fish and chips again and it was prepared the same way, I would return it.

We walked in for lunch and had an absolutely delightful experience. The lunch special was very reasonably priced and portioned, and delicious too! The haddock sandwich was particularly memorable. We ate inside, but there was a cute patio area out back too, protected from the street. We’ll definitely be back!

Split the G on the first try on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The Guinness was very good. Fish and chips were very good. Will definitely stop by again someday.
