We stop here any time we are in the area, even if we are just driving past. The ice cream is great, but so is everything else. Breakfast Sandwiches? Top tier. Coffee? Excellent. I haven’t gotten a single item I didn’t like.

Jungle All The Hay Event Review:
This is our family’s new Christmas tradition! Despite it being freezing cold the day we went, our kids had a Blast! Ages 11, 9, 5 and 2 there was something for each of them! Back in North Carolina there is a farm that does something similar so we came with very high expectations and mostly we were very pleased!
My constructive critiques are, the vender tent left a lot to be desired. We attended on a Saturday and barely anyone was there. Hopefully this will grow as the years pass. By the time we got to the cookie decorating, at about 7, they were all gone and the craft was meh.
The horse carriage ride was so much fun! They had music in the carriage so it played our entire trip which my kids loved singing to.
The inflatables and play area was an absolute hit for all 4 of our kids! The snowball fight and rolling Hampster wheels were the best!!
Santa! He was the man! The absolute best Santa in town!
The petting zoo left a lot to be desired. We recently went to Solomons for a Christmas activity and they had a walk in petting zoo. Baby cows, goats, baby pigs and bunnies. I am hopeful this grows over the years!
The skating rink was a nice touch as well!! We didn’t spend much time here but my kids had fun pretending they were real figure skaters.
Finally the Christmas light tractor ride! This started off so strong! Music and lights we got to drive through. Then the music just stopped leaving it very quiet. I wish like the horse drawn carriage ride the music would have continued with us the entire way . These are things I’m sure will grow as the years go on.
The unique hand made Christmas lights were so fun! You can tell a lot of hard work was put into this. Next year I’m hopeful they will grow this area so that the lights continue for the entire ride and not just end.
Overall I would rate it a 9/10! All 4 kids had fun and not once complained! The 11 year old boy leaned over and thanked me…. THANKED ME for bringing them! That’s a win in itself! The staff was incredibly kind. A lot to do and all very fun! We hope you do it again for years to come! We will be there!

We drove from laplata to attend the jingle all the hay event. The prices seemed like a lot, especially when you include our kiddos, but they generously offered a flash sale on their site which allowed us to budget for it. When we got there, we easily understood how you could justify the price. There are so many activities for the kids, or even as a cute date night idea. Mrs. Moo’s does a lot for the local community, i would encourage anyone to attend, even at full price it is a deal for the clydesdale horses, santa experience, light trail, hay ride, petting zoo, bounce houses and more. Prices for events further away are much higher and why drive out to dc when we can support a local business that also serves our community? The attractions here are comparable and a fraction of the cost and time in the car. Since we saved money with the flash sale, we treated ourselves to their delicious ice cream. Despite it being cold, we ate ALL of it. Completely delicious! We will be back next year!

I can’t say enough good things about Mrs. Moo’s! My brother’s fiancée and I had planned a trip to try their famous iced coffee buckets and even brought our dogs along for the adventure. Just three miles away, we ended up getting rear-ended and honestly thought we wouldn’t make it. Thankfully, my brother came to the rescue with his trailer, picked us (and the truck) up, and we still made our way over for coffee.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner’s brother, who immediately made us feel at home. As soon as he heard what had happened, he told us not to worry about our drinks or the pup cups—they were on the house. That small act of kindness meant so much after such a stressful day. The service was above and beyond, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the coffee itself was incredible.
This shop doesn’t just serve amazing drinks and treats—it’s run by people who genuinely care about their customers. We left smiling, dogs happy, and with full hearts. Highly recommend checking them out, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Very good ice cream! You can choose between cones or cups! Plenty of options! Nice area inside and outside well kept clean and neat! Along with Outside sitting areas and play area for kids! Friendly staff, good service! Lots of other stuff for sale. Including pies and such! Plenty of parking available. One way in and out so keep an eye out for it. Could be easy to pass if not careful.

I have never been disappointed, but I ordered pies for Thanksgiving and was blown out of the water. The cherry pie and key lime pie in particular were absolutely amazing but everyone enjoyed the apple crumb and pecan as well. I was told by an employee when picking up my pies that the owner was working until 4am the night before to ensure all of the orders were ready, and I can tell by the craftsmanship of the pies that the owner takes their craft seriously.
Another note – I first became a customer years ago when I saw a FB post that the owner was closing shop for the day due to the abusive nature of customers to their employees in the previous day. As a former restaurant worker I can not begin to express how much I appreciated this action. Mrs. Moos is a demonstrated place of integrity and quality.

Me and my boyfriend stopped by for some sundaes yesterday for the first time. It’s a really nice place. I had the peanut butter delight sundae and my boyfriend had the banana split. They were huge. We enjoyed them very much. It was totally worth the stop.

Our first instinct when we pulled up to Mr. Moo’s Jingle All the Hay was to stay in the car where it was warm and just go home. I really wish we had listened to our guts. We stayed because $19 per person for an “all-inclusive” event sounded like a good deal, but it turned out to be a massive disappointment.
The “Petting Zoo” & Vendors
Don’t expect a variety of farm animals. It was basically a pen of aggressive goats and nothing else. We then headed to the “vendor tent,” which was just two tables selling what looked like cheap items straight off of Temu.
The Rides & Lights
I was most excited about the horse-drawn carriage, but it was a joke. It just circles the parking lot—you can see the exact same “display” from your car for free. We eventually tried the hayride, thinking it couldn’t be worse than the carriage. We were wrong. The light displays are placed so close to the wagon that you can’t actually see them; it’s just a blur of bulbs passing inches from your face.
The Atmosphere (or Lack Thereof)
The “music” was the breaking point. The DJ blasted ear-aching, off-brand Christmas covers that sounded like they didn’t have the budget for the real versions. It was genuinely tone-deaf and painful to listen to.
Food & Drink
We tried to get hot cocoa on three separate occasions. The line never moved. After standing in the cold and realizing the staff had no sense of urgency, we gave up. I’ll never know if the cocoa was any good, but based on the rest of the event, I have my doubts.
Final Verdict: This felt like a sad, poorly planned cash grab. Between the aggressive goats, the Temu-tier vendors, and the “light show” in a parking lot, it was a waste of time and money. Save your $19 and stay home.

I really wanted to give this place a full 5 stars because the service was great and the place is beautiful but I bought multiple cold desserts that were labeled as “cheesecake” and they tasted just like jello pudding pies with store bought pie crust or just shredded graham cracker dust. The lemon “cheesecake” was just lemon pudding and blended grahm cracker dust, it also had no lemon filling all throughout the pie, the non cheesecake pudding was only smeared on the sides to appear as if it had the lemon filling all throughout it but as you can see in the picture it was 90% cool whip.
The oreo “cheesecake” we bought was good but yet again it was not cheesecake , there is not a spec of cream cheese in any of these pies. The oreo cheesecake tasted like a jello oreo pudding mix with a store bought crust and a ton of cool whip. I would have been fine with all this if the deserts were labeled as they should have been (which was pudding or pie), my family was very disappointed to find out what we got had no cheesecake in any of it, even though what we bought was advertised as cheesecake.
We also got ice cream, it was good but my ice cream was a little freezer burnt, i had tiny bits of ice all throughout mine, i got the pumpkin cheesecake icecream (which actually had cheesecake thankfully). I would definitely go here again for the ice cream in hopes this time it is not freezer burnt since the flavor was great.

Oh my goodness! This place reminds me of one I ate at in Rehoboth beach. I decided to make this strawberry cake and strawberry shake as dinner . This little ice cream shops sells a variety of sweets. The young ladies working here are so friendly, informative and helpful. They even bring your dessert to your picnic table if you sit outside or to your car, like they did for me since I have 2 little pups with me. The strawberry shortcake was very moist and the shake was yummy. They put a lot of whip cream and I didn’t like it as much as I expected. It was very thick and didn’t taste as sweet. I prefer the fluffier and sweet one that instantly melts in my mouth. I also picked up a piece of coconut cake that I have tried yet, and a bag of milk chocolate toffee which was real good! Definitely swing buy if you are in the area this place was pretty busy when I visited but there wasn’t a line at checkout. I also learned that they get different brands of ice cream and South Mountain Creamery is one of them. I have been to this creamery located in NE Maryland.
