My family and I really enjoyed having dinner here! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was so relaxing, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The prices were surprisingly great for the quality, which was a huge bonus. And we absolutely loved the horse décor throughout the restaurant, such a fun and charming touch! Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

Thanks to the lovely and amazing Sofia, who helped me choose this fajita dish @ La Fiesta across from Foxwood Publix on Hwy 27, Exit 354! Fajita shrimp, chicken & steak with small pieces of pineapple, also served on half a pineapple! Plenty for 2+!

The food was great, we had the elote as an appetizer which was good. I had the fajitas vallarta which came in a pineapple, no complaints . My wife had the La Fiesta, which had chicken and steak, she got the onions and tomatoes on the side and it was perfect. Our 12 yo who only ever eats chicken tenders when we go to Mexican restaurants decided to get the tacos de asada. She got the onions and cilantro on the side and she ate 2 out of the 3 tacos and said they were great. For dessert we tried the fried cheesecake which was okay, and the chocolate volcano which was good, especially considering the price. Horchata was good, my wife had the 2 for 1 margaritas and she said they were great. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch or family dinner. Portions were huge and the service was phenomenal. Our server was super attentive. 10/10 best Mexican restaurant in Ocala.

I have been to about 8 Mexican restaurants in Ocala and this one is the best.. The food, drinks and Mara the bartender(plus waitress) were great.. Everyone smiling and happy. The enchiladas, guacamole and sangrias were great. Definitely will be back.. I wish I can give higher than 5..

Service was horrible!!! First we order the Queso Fundido and it was just Cheese dip with sausage and they call it “queso fundido”. They didn’t bring the napkins, we had to ask for napkins. The server left dirty dishes on the table for a while. I ask for extra chips and he didn’t bring salsa just cold chips I will never come back. Oh! And also the AC felt like 90 degree to HOT for us!!!! PLEASE be more kind with your Custumer’s

I ordered the Chile Relleno and it wasn’t good or traditional. The pepper wasn’t dipped in the fluffy egg batter and fried. It was just a softened pepper itself. And the cheese was the consistency of playdough. Not much flavor to the food at all. My friend ordered the enchiladas and said the meat choices he got were dry and flavorless. I have been to a lot of authentic mexican places that were great, this just didn’t hit the mark. The waitress was kind enough to take 50% off each meal. With so many good mexican restaurants and food trucks in ocala, no sense in wasting the time, money, or gas to go to a subpar place like this ♀️

Check your bill before you pay! They up-charged both of our drinks to more expensive versions of what we ordered and received, all without our knowledge. A pretty sneaky way to increase the bill (and tip) total.

Our first time dining at La Fiesta. Party of 4, I had Coctel de Camerones and everybody else had Shrimp Quesadillas.
My Coctel was above average for the Ocala area. Plenty of shrimp, fresh avocado, not too spicy and a nice Orange finish. Everybody else enjoyed their Quesadillas as well.
The problem we had was a total lack of communications. The server was told that one person had a pepper allergy and needed to have her meal cooked separately insuring no peppers entered her food. The server did not deliver the food and the folks who did had no clue which was the special dish. Sooo we ended up sending one back and having a new dish prepared. We do not know if the problem was the server, kitchen or deliverer but the end result was unacceptable and needless.
Considering the loud music, dirty silverware (1 of 4) and lack of communication, I do not feel that the experience warrants a return.

Nice stop for lunch, enjoyed the vegetarian options, I had potato flautas and they were good, not greasy. Really liked the rice. Also pictured is a chili relleno and and a beef taco ordered a la carte.

I then ask to be seated at the bar ordered food was a disaster tacos without guacamole other helpings made me sick, waiters kept coming back without what I asked them to serve.
After waiting talking to different servers started getting sick stomach cramps couldn’t take it.
This was totally a disaster won’t be coming back.
