Cozy atmosphere and nice decor. Appetizers were good. Steaks were well seasoned and cooked well. The scallops were a little overcooked and a bit of a fishy taste. The sides were not anything special and tasted fine.

While staying at Aliante Resort and Spa we decided to have dinner at MRKT. Only negative is they have very limited hours from 5-10 pm on most evenings. So you need to plan accordingly to reserve a table. First service was excellent as our waiter was helpful, informative and pleasant. We went with the 16 oz NY Strip was cooked to perfection and delicious. My significant other had the 7 oz fillet mignon which she had nothing but great things to say. We also had sides including the stuffed baked potato (I’ve had better), Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. They were all huge portions and complimented our steaks. Started things off with some very warm and fresh French bread and pretzel buns which were very good. Merlot recommended it was a perfect match for the meat prepared as well. Prices were commensurate with most larger scale Vegas steakhouses. That being said you will drop a minimum of $200 for two. This doesn’t include any extra bar drinks or desserts. Overall a nice experience at MRKT and would recommend if staying at Aliante or immediate area.

This was my first time going to this restaurant and I did expect so much more. I had the shrimp that was so breaded It taste like a lump of corn bread. That picture they show on their site that is all bread I also had the Brussel sprouts, terrible!!!! They were mushy and tasted like it was drowned in butter, it was awful no kind of crisp to it at all. And The water…It taste like it had metal or minerals in it, they need to change their filter. Awful experience! What a disappointment. And for the prices they charge… this is unacceptable.

Had a reservation, entered the restaurant, there was no greeter and no one welcomed us at all. When the “greeter” finally showed up, she saw us and still didn’t acknowledge us until we spoke to her. She was not pleasant at all and clearly had an attitude. We were 3 mins early but yet she very rudely told us we needed to leave and come back at our actual reservation time… Service definitely needs improvement!
