This place used to be really good. I had it today and the chow mein tasted like they used stale noodles to make them. The rice was really dry and the chicken in my kung pao tasted end of the week meal prep. Ruined my appetite. I actually passed a panda on my way here and decided to skip it to come here. Panda sucks too but I can say it’s a little fresher than this. Guess I’m gonna have to find a new local spot.

EDIT 12/2025: removing 2 stars for UNCOOKED RICE (fries rice had a lot of uncooked grains which is unacceptable for an Asian place). Rest of food is good, service remains prompt and friendly. Servings are still generous.
Our family buys from here when we want fast food for cheap. We realized their price for the amount of food they serve is much better than going to McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, and other big franchises. They DO NOT skimp on servings. Our to-go boxes were STUFFED FULL.
I ordered two 2-meal combo w/ fried rice (teriyaki chicken is our favorite but we added chicken orange and beef broccoli on one) each for $10.95. This was more than enough for 4-5 adults.
Staff was no nonsense but polite and they really were generous in giving food.
The other Mr. You for some reason was more expensive so go here instead

I used to rave about Mr. Hughes and say they were the best. Go there. Their egg girls pork were really long and cooked perfectly, always fresh. Now I’ve noticed they’re shorter a little bit fatter, and they’re always almost burnt. And I always go in and have to ask for fresh and they’re still almost burnt. The service is being very rude when I ask. I come in, I say, hey, I need this and she goes, oh, I’ll get it in a minute. I’m like, I’m trying to order it. So that it’s done by the time you get my order service. Then, when I ask for my sauce, it’s in there. We give it to you if you order chicken. We give it to you. I’m making sure because you know how many times I sent my husband to this store because they know us and late lieutenant, they don’t know us mind you.Yes, I don’t go as much anymore.Try not to go out to eat.But they always forget my sauce.Come home, we’re screwed, and so i’m making sure, and she’s being very rude about it

Disappointed opening my takeout box to a questionable smell from the teriyaki chicken, seemed unevenly cooked while only looking decent. Took a few bites before skipping on it.

Our entire family & extended family have been eating at Mr. You’s for over 18 years. Amazing food. Perfect portions. Worth every penny. There is never a day or night I am not welcomed in. A warm greeting & expressive smile from staff make any bad day better.

I’m so disappointed in this location. Uncleaned shrimp in my wonton soup, the spicy chicken wings looked like they were sitting under the heat lamp all day. They tried to revive them with water, which really altered the taste & texture of the dish. I should’ve known better when I didn’t see many customers. I know now. I will not be returning. Instead, I’ll take the drive to the one in Jurupa off the 60 interstate.

Terrible customer service. I can tell the employee who works there does not want to be there. Did not greet me, she was rude, she said what do you want. I ordered 2 orders with one side. One side had beef and the other steak with broccoli and she mainly served Chow mein on both orders there was hardly any meat on the container and the food was cold and very salty. I I am never coming back. I should had read the reviews before I came. It would had save me the time the trouble and the money. I am very disappointed.

I ordered $50 dollars worth of food and they refused to provide me sweet & sour sauce unless I paid another $1.00 that is messed up. I won’t be returning to this restaurant when they are so cheap that they cant provide condiments with the food you ordered without paying extra! Bad customer service 100%
