This place has been here forever. People love it. It’s clean, Service is fast -food is good. Lots of space. It’s currently packed “around the edges”- the booths. We had vegetarian omelet and the special. Good fresh. Served hot and quickly. Simple. Good. Plenty of food in the order. Server Kelly was very good!

Oh my goodness where do I start, friendliest folks in town , the servers were very attentive and checked on us every chance they got , the food was absolutely excellent tasted just like a home cooked meal !! I got the Salisbury steak which was out of this world and topped it off with a strawberry milkshake!! Oh and let’s not forget the honey butter for the homemade cornbread yummmmmy!! Use to come here with my papa so many years ago !!

Very friendly staff and a wide range on the menu you can order whatever you want no matter what time of the day they are open. I usually get French dip for breakfast when I go there. There are two dining rooms one to the left and one to the right we prefer the one on the right

Impeccable service, the staff alone make the dining experience. The food was a bit expensive but the portion made up for the high prices. I went with two other people, had a dinner salad (that was rather decent) paid 14.99 for it. My friend had the fish and chips and said he would rate them 2stars. Paid 11.99 for them. My other friend had an Idaho Omelet (an exclusive dish) and ended up taking most home, she said it was mostly okay. Paid 12.99. Had 2 cups of coffee and a soda, after all was said and done I paid a total of 50.50. Still one of the only diners left in business in Caldwell so if you get the chance it’s better than eating alone in your hotel room.

Best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve ever had! Great priced kids menu! The toddlers ate better than ever. Our server, Alex was polite, timely, and had a humble confidence about him! All perfect experience! Also nice to be able to order breakfast all day!

The grizzly burgers are amazing. It is my go-to nearly every time I go. Love this local business. Also love the fact that even though inflation is out of control this wonderful small business is not going nuts with price increases. We should give them our support just for that but the great burgers make it easy to spend my money here.

My hubby and I went to Mr V’s for dinner. Hubby had the steak and grilled shrimp dinner. He said it was excellent. The shrimp was so good he had another order. I had breakfast, it was cooked to perfection. It’s not a fancy place but it has good food and excellent service. Will frequent this restaurant again. Great prices too!
