Ordered the chicken teriyaki plate with vegetable tempura! I like dark meat but you can also change it to white meat for an additional $2. It was delicious, came with a little miso soup, and the portion size is pretty fair for the price. All staff was very friendly and I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Great food, friendly service, and neighborhood vibes. This place really hit the spot after a long day of travel- and everything was thoughtfully seasoned and prepared, from the miso soup to the egg roll to the main dishes! They have a straightforward, simple menu that’s just done well. Reasonable priced (bring cash if you can, and you’ll even get a slight discount on the bill!) rounded out a great dinner experience.

This was my first experience with “Japanese” food some 30;years ago. They have moved locations, but the food had remained strong. Limited sushi, menu. I like the spicy tuna hand roll. Everything ok the menu is good. My faves include the vegetable tempura and the beef fried rice. The NY steak teriyaki is tasty. Soft drinks are limited, but tea is available.

I had a co-worker tell me about this place and I missed my Beef Fried Rice from “back home” so I gave it a shot. First, let me mention the customer service. She was friendly, smiled and made great conversation with me while I waited for my to-go order. OUTSTANDING customer service. This was after she had worked all day and HAS to be tired, but you’d never know that.
Onto the food…it was by far the best I’ve ever had…even better than “home”. The portion was large enough that I’ll have lunch tomorrow as well. The price was more than fair. The egg roll was the largest I’ve ever had and was also delicious.
I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back and dine in and get the sushi and tempura.

I got chicken teriyaki with white rice. I also got an egg roll. Everything was delicious. I could not have been more satisfied. The first bite of the chicken gave me a mouth orgasm. The first bite of the egg roll made my final decision: definitely would recommend this place. Love Mr. Tokyo. Side note: the waiter was very helpful and provided a great experience.

We tried this restaurant for the first time today. I got the chicken hibachi and an avocado roll, and my partner got the combination udon and an egg roll. We thought the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and atmosphere was also excellent.

I have only been here twice, will definitely be back! I ordered the chicken teriyaki, and shrimp tempura my first visit. The second time I visited, I ordered teriyaki beef and shrimp tempera. My friend ordered the Mr. Tokyo. We also ordered egg rolls, which I ate before I could take a picture. The miso served prior to our meal was absolutely delicious. We both ordered a soda, which was served nicely with crushed ice and by the can. I couldn’t be more satisfied!
The portions are very generous and everything was made fresh and served hot. I would highly recommend this place. Service was excellent!
