We dined outside for dinner in December. There was a wait inside so we went outside. The outside seating area was mostly empty. The chairs were a lot lower than the tables, which was challenging for the kids and women with short torsos. It took a while for a server to take our drink orders and even longer for them to come. It became obvious they were understaffed. It took us 1.5 hours to get our food from when we sat down. And they brought the food in 2 waves. The first group was almost done by the time the second group got their food. The rice and beans were cold like they had been sitting for a while. Overall the food was good. The wait staff acknowledged the issue, one of the cooks was out. It didn’t explain the slow drink and order service. They gave us a 30% discount at the end, which we really appreciated. I would try them again. Maybe it was just a bad night for them.

First time here. I was craving Mexican so I figured I would give them a try. For the prices they are charging, the food was terrible. My fajitas barely had any meat and no flavor and it was also tuff. My sons burrito was also bland and no flavor and his steak was very tuff too chew as well. Their chips and salsa was also very basic. They are serving tex mex style food and charging way over price. This is not authentic Mexican. I do not recommend this place. There is way better places than this

Mr. Tequilla on Tiamiami Trai East was our initial visit to their Mexican restaurants.
This was different from what we anticipated; the restaurant is beautifully decorated with vibrant chairs, booths, and various artifacts.
There is a spacious bar offering a wide selection of alcoholic beverages.
The food and service were fantastic.
We ordered the quesadilla along with beef and chicken tacos, which came with a side of rice and beans.
It was absolutely delicious.
We also enjoyed the Tequila Margaritas with a buy one get one offer.
We will definitely return.

Food was mixed. Liked the Margaritas, the chips and salsa and chicken tortilla soup. Had the shrimp tacos and they were bland, no flavor. I would not recommend.

Used to be my go to place for tacos but the last 2 times showed me the good times are gone. And from reading the other reviews. It’s in agreement. Busboy now is a bartender and waiter with ZERO skills. Asked for a chilled shot. Got it on the Rox. Told him to fix it after he left ice melting for 5 min. He throws it in the tumbler and shakes it more! Yum watery shot. Thx. To top it off, he puts my friends drinks on my tab when it was supposed to be reversed. (Also maybe make your own crunchy taco shells instead of cheap mass produced ones you bought) we can tell. All others do!
So today lucky me I get him again. 2nd round of drinks took forever and sadly my favorite dish was served with ice cold meat? Flavor gone and sadly I’m feeling ill from it. Hope he didnt fix it that way since he got no tip for his previous screw ups. 5000 we out!

The portions here are generous, making it a great spot if you’re hungry. We had the guacamole dip and the Fajitas Parrillada and Shrimp Fajitas – both well-seasoned and satisfying. The large frozen margarita was a nice touch, perfect for a warm day. Cleanliness was average, and the service was decent, but nothing exceptional. Overall, it is a solid choice for Mexican food in Naples.

We really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the serving size was crazy. Even though the burrito I got was huge, I managed to eat almost the whole thing because of how good it tasted. The service was not great, the server wasn’t as attentive as we would have liked. Also, my boyfriend and his mom had ordered the fajita platter and my boyfriend asked if he could add pastor to the meats but the waiter said they couldn’t do that. You’re just adding another meat to the dish, he could’ve said it came with an up charge or something, but as a customer it was irritating just hearing a complete no when you’re just asking for an accommodation that you would be willing to pay extra for. It was a bit ridiculous but regardless all the food was great.

Mr. Tequila was fun! We joined our father in law for drinks & dinner. It was delicious. We had fish fajitas, guacamole, chips, all prepared with care. The dining room was decorated in Mexican style. The bathrooms were “very” clean (I always seem to see if the vents are clean & they were) so I didn’t feel icky. The service was good. It was a great dining experience. Kudos to Mr. Tequila, great food and service make wonderful memories!
