Relaxed outpost of an area chain offering familiar Mexican cooking, including fajitas & enchiladas.

Nice little Mexican restaurant. Food was ok. Salsa was pretty sad. Your usual Mexican restaurant meal/menu. Got the Fajitas Tejanas and my child got the Kids Burrito Quesadilla plate. Both were fine. Fajitas Tehanos comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp. 5 shrimp on the plate, enough to make a burrito with. Comes with 3 tortillas and there was enough food for 5 tortillas, a plus right there. Anyhow deffinitly no real complaints. Would try again.

Good food, service, and prices. We got an ACP and chicken fajitas, both were great. Portions were standard. The drink cups were huge, which was nice because we didn’t need refills as frequently. No complaints here!

ABOVE AVERAGE!
Been a while since I gave all 5’s but tonight was perfection. Tyler was a great server, attentive and personable. The fresh guac was amazing. Portions were on the large size. Al pastor tacos hit the spot. Shrimp tacos were great! Kids loved the rice.
Beers were priced well and ice cold.
Plates would have been empty if we were so full.

Ran across this restaurant on Google and decided to call and ask about wait times. They thankfully had no wait time, so we decided to eat Mexican for lunch. Chips and salsa were amazing. Chips were nice and crispy, and the salsa was flavorful. I ordered their 4 taco meal that comes with rice or beans. I opted for both beans and rice. The steak tacos, unfortunately, were not the best. The tortillas felt and tasted like they were microwaved and had been sitting out for a while. The steak was mildly warm, and the tortillas were starting to harden. Meat had no flavor, and just the tortillas being hard did not make it for a great taco. Rice and beans were good, though. I ended up giving up on the tortilla and just adding the steak into the rice and beans. I also ordered the agua de Jamaica, which was delicious. Our waitor was friendly. Overall, everyone else had an “eh” experience with their food also. Nothing spectacular. I’m not sure if I would ever return, but if I happen to, I may just try something else.

Awesome restaurant, they have some of the typical Mexican foods and they have items you don’t typically find at other Mexican restaurants such as fish or Shrimp ceviche, Pina Tropical and many others. Take time to look through the menu and you’ll find many hidden surprises. Don’t skip the churros.
In peak season you’ll typically have wait to get in. Service is fast and the staff is always friendly.

The great place to be with family, nice ambience and nicely maintained. The prices are cheap and taste was good too. Nothing special than you get over any mexican restaurants however the service was very fast like the order was on table in 5 mins maybe we were in off peak time(8pm). Well treated with tortilla chips and sauce. We took Dinner special for 2 includes burrito, 2 tacos, chille rellenos, rice, beans. All tasted good except chille seems to old which fried and made it very chewy except that all family left with good experience. We visited during winter time. Watch their specials every day.

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. However, I wish the servers had shown a bit more attention to their tables. Also, since the servers were all dressed in casual clothes, it was hard to tell who was a server, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, good.

Stopped in here on my drive through Boone. The inside is authentic, the food is delicious and it was the best bang for your buck lunch I’ve had in years. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Must stop.

Los Arcoiris is located in a strip mall area behind Burger King. Don’t let the location and outside appearance stop you from eating at this restaurant. This restaurant was recommended by the manager on duty at Towneplace Suite Marriott in Boone Nc. The staff is very friendly. I had the Pina Tropical during my visit to this restaurant location in Boone Nc. Parking appears to be limited during the peek hours, but there is plenty of seating available inside. The inside atmosphere is definitely a modern day experience with excellent food. Alcohol is consumption in this restaurant. The Pina Tropical is loaded with chicken, steak, shrimp, onions and peppers. The sauce served with the chips is delicious and mild. Parking is limited and be difficult to find during the peek hours. The restaurant has plenty of seats available to accommodate guests.
