Been wanting to come here for awhile. My chilequiles were really good, fresh, and flavorful, my mom had pozole. A little on the pricy side $37.00, two meals and 2 coffee’s, but I guess that’s everywhere. Mostly empty, from everything that’s going on. We need to support our local businesses.

I’ve been going to this place since it was the Hamburger Joint! We would order our food and grab groceries from the store across the street! This is a phenomenal place to sit or take out! The Jugo soup is amazing! Crispy taco’s ! Everything is great!

The crispy beef tacos were delicious, crunchy shell, juicy meat, and fresh toppings. Paired them with a creamy horchata that tasted like cinnamon cloud milk. Bonus points for the friendly service, fast, helpful, and all smiles. Zero regrets will definitely be back.

Hubby stopped in to get us some tacos. 1 chicken and 1 steak for me. They fixed mine according to his instructions. Unfortunately, his had tomatoes which he had not requested. Also, he was not impressed with the flavor. I enjoyed, because they weren’t spicy. However, I did favor the chicken over the steak.

Torta bread seemed undercooked as i could taste the flour or some kind of odd taste. Steak meat was hardly seasoned if at all. I originally gave a three star review because I had a good experience with them once but me and my dad got sick the next day which is unacceptable. $30 down the drain

The place is very nice, clean and comfortable.You can be seated as you order or order as you’re being seated plenty of space. Food is delicious. I’ll always get five hard shell tacos with everything.

This is a Family owner restaurant.Taco Mex is absolutely delicious. Authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended by a Mexican person. Menudo is the best in Chicago and everything here is tasty and yummy.
