First time here and I loved it! I’m from Texas, so I’m picky about Mexican food, but this Colorado spot really surprised me. The place is cozy with super colorful décor and a fun lucha-libre theme that gives it a unique vibe. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious — the tacos, salsas, and horchata were all on point. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m in the area!

The food was great. The atmosphere is fun with a small wrestling ring in the corner. Fun theme. My son enjoyed the quesadilla, and I enjoyed both the chicken and bean and cheese burritos (both smothered). The chips and salsa was good as well.

Open on Thanksgiving morning and walked in and ordered a sausage breakfast burrito with green chili on the side. Was ready in 8 minutes and was delicious. The hostess/waitress was very welcoming and nice. I’m glad I found this place as I was driving down the construction battlefield which is Colfax November 2025. Their blinking OPEN sign is what hooked me. The inside looked like they had about 10-15 tables maybe more. It was clean, easy to navigate, and a few tables were full. They have a beautiful patio which I bet is nice when it’s warm. I walked my dog around the neighborhood while I waited for my order. I want to come back some day and try lunch or dinner. A wonderful place in my opinion.

I have been to many taco spots all over the metro. I have never ever had queso birria as good as it was here. Just outstanding! The chips and salsas were really great too. My waitress was amazing! My marg was super strong. Things of colfax are bad right now, but you’d never know it after stepping in here! Its super clean too! Please go in and grab anything! Its all good!

I got the lamb Birra tacos today. Wow great tacos top 3 in Denver!!! Place is really clean and great service. Colfax did them dirty with the new remodeling let’s keep this place alive!!! Support small businesses doing things Right!!

Mr. Taco Lucha is a total gem — the lucha libre theme is super fun and the food is just as exciting. We had the Enchiladas Gladiadores, Quesabirria, Caldo de Res, and a mix of tacos (asada, tripa, al pastor), and everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The vibe is lively, the service is great, and it’s definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Love this place: the staff and atmosphere, but it’s really expensive for Mexican food on Colfax, and some items are oddly favorless… I think they specialize in certain things (like the mole and tacos?), while other dishes are bland. A family of two adults and one kid racked up a $75 tab after tip! We ordered only one margarita (which was primarily ice) and it was $14. I hope this place can stick around, its cute, but would hesitste to go here when there are tastier and more affordable options around.
