Came in on a Friday afternoon for a Michelada and some grilled chicken nachos. $33 later the michelada was good. A bit overpriced if you ask me but I guess that’s how much your paying for the atmosphere. The grilled chicken nachos were no good. I will go to the Beaumont location from time to time and there portions are big and full of meat. And this location it was smaller it was full of cheese with not to much grilled chicken on it. What’s worst? The beans were canned beans. Like how could this be? It’s a Mexican restaurant the beans should be fresh. For food, I probably won’t go back.

I’ve been to Mr Tacos only a couple of times. At first it was time to break away from the average burger joints that surround us. But the food here was amazing. Of course, they’re known for their tacos. Asada, birria, pastor but their shrimp tacos just kick it to another level. Their combo plates are amazing also especially their Huevos Rancheros. This is one of those places where you just can’t eat enough. They have a nice chili/salsa bar for your hot to spicy needs to turn your meal up a notch. Plus their cold beer, they have plenty to choose from to help wash down your meal while your watching your favorite sports on one of their many TV’s they have around the place for your viewing pleasure. This weekend give Mr Taco a try.

Cool spot. Has changed alot. Used to get packed now it’s calm…nice ambiance can’t complain food was good michiladas despite price were delicious. Service is a little slow. You need to flag down the waitress but bother than that I recommend. Also caution by the exterior bar there a step there very dangerous if you faded you can have a nice laughable fall..lol they should change that to a ramp or eliminate all together..lawsuit ready to happen..

83.00 dollars for 3 sodas, chips and salsa, one loco fry, one regular burrito and one torta with fries was way to much, even at 15 dollars each plate is only 50 after taxes, you can’t tell me that 99 cent chips and salsa and 3 drinks was 33 dollars, the lady at the cash register said to a customer you can’t get drunk here it’s to expensive. 4 of us go to red Robin and it comes out 85 dollars and they have way better food,

This place has great reviews, so had to try it. This is by far the worst and most expensive mexican food I’ve ever had. The beans were watered down with no flavor, Del Taco has better beans. The crunchy tacos were chewy with no flavor. I had the Carne asada but couldn’t tell what type of meat it was because it was white inside with no flavor, the only flavor anything had was the onions and cilantro. To summarize, this cost a little more than $70 for 3 bean and cheese burritos, 5 tacos, and a side of beans and chips. The service was poor because I called to order and no one picked up, thought they were busy but no one was there when I showed up and had to get my own chips and salsa which would have been fine if they didn’t charge $9 for a bean and cheese burrito. I just moved to this area and have heard this place was better before the “pandemic.”

This place got mid honestly. Once you pass all the paywalls and get to your food you will realize they changed the recipes. We used to live in the area and would frequently visit after taking our daughter to the doctor.

It was our first time dining here. Drinks were great. Service was fast. I had hard shell tacos and my husband had a burrito. It was good. Not great but good. They have a chips/salsa/pico etc..bar after you order you can help yourself. The Pico was really good the rest especially the guacamole was lacking. May eat here again but no with high expectations. The outside seating was nice.

Haven’t been in a while but decided to come back after 2 years ish?? Food is still good, tripa tacos are amazing (crunchy) but if you don’t like that, the asada tacos are amazing as well. Prices have gone up as expected and they charge for chips and salsa. Would recommend tell your friends.

Used to love Mr. Taco. Good fun atmosphere… good food…. Now they’ve upped their prices by a ton AND began charging extra for the chips and salsa… like what? So the food is way more expensive than it used to be… for my family of 3, we used to spend around $50-$60… we came today and spent $88 then had to ask about the small salsa containers and chip holders because there were none out… extra charge. I’m sorry but where the hell so they charge extra for salsa and chips? They should just naturally supply each meal with two containers for salsa and one set of chips per table? Or serve it to them yourselves. Long time customers and will not be returning.

Ordered the taquitos, came with a tiny portion of guacamole. Wasn’t enough for even 1 taquito.
