With the name like Mr. Souvlaki, I was skeptical, but the title is well earned!
Did my usual Google search for falafel near me as I was traveling and this place popped up.
I walked in, everyone was super nice, the food came out quickly and it was a really good experience.
I can only vouch for the falafel at this point but the sandwich is huge. The falafel crispy and the seasonings spot on!
I can’t wait to try some of their other stuff…

I went in as they were getting ready to close, they were so nice and took my order anyway. I ordered the Gyro. And it was the best I’ve ever had. Everyone was so friendly and no one seemed to mind that I was coming in late. They were very cordial and friendly and I’m so grateful because this sandwich is delicious!

Great place overall! Food was very good and good portions. The food was quite lemony, which wasn’t necessarily bad, but just different!
The lemon egg soup was delicious and big, and was very strong with lemon flavor. And the authentic gyro was good, and fairly strong with a lemon flavor as well.

I have gotten take out from this location 5-6 times over the past year and it’s always been good. My usual order is the lamb and beef pita and Greek salad, which I usually split. Pita wraps are quite sizable and well seasoned. Service is fast. Place is always clean when I’ve picked up. Excited to try some of the other menu items.

Ordered the Greek Fries off of the Mr. Souvlaki food truck at the Abingdon Fire Company! I must say they were the best Greek Fries I’ve ever had!! You definitely get your monies worth. Enjoyed visiting your food truck and look forward to visiting again.

The food was absolutely delicious. I can’t stop thinking about that special rice. The chicken was cooked perfectly. They give very large portions. It’s a little pricey, but understood with the economy the past four years. Definitely will return.

Mr souvlaki was a hit. Good gyros. I got the $14.50 which gave you a gyro, fries and a soda. It’s a great value and quality food. The tzatziki sauce was very garlicky, which isn’t a bad thing. I enjoyed every bit of it

I was very happy to see this place on Google maps. I love Greek food. We stopped in on Sunday afternoon. It’s a small place with five (maybe?) tables. It wasn’t crowded when we were here. We over ordered so was could taste everything. First off, service was great. You order at the counter and then the food is brought out to you. Everything came out pretty quickly and freshly made. The French fries are great. Very much like boardwalk fires. The lentil soup is very good. The Greek salad, well, what can I say? I know most people don’t love salads but I loved this one. Good Greek dressing! Husband’s chicken pita wrap was amazing. It was difficult – because the thing is huge – but he ate the whole thing. My falafel pita wrap was also amazing. I saved most of mine for another meal. The falafel was great. I’ve had a hard time finding really great falafel so I was extra happy. Their falafel is flatter and thinner than what you’re used to do so it’s perfect, crispy, flavorful and not to dense. The grape leaves… Oh… Worth the 40 minute drive to go get more! Portions are huge. Prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get. Oh, and they have beer and wine. We didn’t get any this time but I liked that it was available.
