We went into the bar . That’s where you pay for your camp site. Very friendly place.
Camp sites are $45 with water and electricity. We did call ahead and had no trouble getting a spot. It’s on the river and was a good place for us to spend the night.

Quaint bar overlooking section of river with boat slips and patio. Service was friendly. Stopped on a dive bar trip and while a bit blah for a true dive bar, still worth the stop.

Always worth stopping in. Right on the Mississippi river bank. Great view of the river when inside as well the deck outside. Very nice.

Definitely an overlooked, hidden gem right on the river.
Stopped in for a few drinks here one night during the week(Tues) with a few out of town guests, nice & mellow atmosphere…beautiful outdoor seating area…service was great…only complaints were it closed very early(11pm) and there was no music playing outside…I understand some like the quiet peaceful ambience of the river but wouldve been nice to have the option…I guess it’s just a mood thing and just a personal preference. Other than that no real complaints, prices were best we found that whole evening and we had been to several bars, drinks were cold, service was very friendly and the outdoor option was comfy, clean and pretty damn fabulous, right on the river too! Would definitely recommend checking them out for at least a drink or three if in the area.

We enjoyed it. Don’t argue with mr sippi about kinetic energy. Lol. Nice guy great bar tender. Cool location has nice camper campsites and boat slips and play ground for little kids. Good snacks. Great service.

With a name that clever, I had high expectations. They should sell the namplate to another bar (although another bar may not want it now). I didn’t realize it was a dirty trucker/campground bar that doesn’t serve PBR in Wisconsin. One drink was enough to not come back. To get an idea of the grunginess, it has a shower for the campers in the bathroom of the bar. It did have a good river view and the music was good, just very loud.

Need cash no cards excepted. But of coarse, they have a cash machine you can pay them to use.
Cocktails were weak.
Access channel has large and long shallow wing dam. Use caution! They do have a couple freon cans marked to cross dam for now. Still very shallow.

It is an extremely nice riverfront views bar the amenities include idyllic docking right off main Mississippi river channel (do call ahead ask for a man named river rat to ask exact location of underwater closure dam aka wing dam there is 2 small non-coast guard bouys near northern shore go between them to reach dock from main channel) there is rv camping heated showers and a laid back bar catering to the quieter older crowd. If you want a nice riverview sunset cocktail or cold beer after a long day this is the place to be. Talk to river rat for amenities nobody on the river can match his old school prices believe me I called every marina for 200miles.
