Starting out as a mom and pop restaurant, we truly focus on treating everyone that comes in like a regular and hope to give them the best experience with quality food and service at great prices. The Mr. Shrimp family decided to share their recipes and love of flavor with others by expanding into the wider market of South Florida and beyond. This place was really good… I been living in pines and didn’t even know this was here. Its in the plaza where home depot is, facing pines blvd.
The food was really good, served hot and fresh. I had the Miami Bowl swapped the black beans out for red beans and added the Beef sausage… (See Picture)

When there for lunch for the first time, my husband had cracked conch and shrimp with fries, I had bayou bowl, they were both delicious, well breaded, make sure you go, you won’t regret, great customer service.

Hubby and I had a hankering for some seafood and decided to give these guys a try. We were Welcomed from the door. We walked up to the counter and our server Janet explained all of the deals and favorites on the menu. She gave us samples of their Specialty Mint Lemonade and Sweet tea. The Mint Lemonade was a hit. And there were free refills. We placed our orders and sat down. The place really has a nice vibe to it. Very clean! And pleasant. We watched as customers came in and we’re also greeted upon entry. Our server brought our meals and we had an awesome time digging in. Everything was fresh, tasty and delicious. The manager made his rounds to check on everyone and there no complaints from anyone. Everything was lovely. We had really great time there and can’t wait to return. P.S. The restroom was clean smelled nice too. Perfect place for lunch or dinner.

The fried shrimp and conch were fresh and very delicious! Salad was fresh with very tasty citrus vinaigrette dressing. Mint lemonade was refreshing!! This was my first time visiting this spot. As a picky New Yorker, I will definitely be back! I want to give a special shout out to Sarah for her excellent service! Everything was great!

Needed somewhere new and different to try for lunch….just happened to see Mr Shrimp as I was driving by on Pines Blvd. Never heard of them before…ordered the Miami bowl which has a one protein (chicken, shrimp or fish or beef sausage), choice of rice quinoa or salad, black beans, mango salsa plantains and creamy cilantro sauce. Lived the little potato sticks…added a nice crunch. Very well seasoned (a little salty) but very tasty and quite filling.
Presentation was nicely done didn’t look slapped together like some bowls do at other places.
Restaurant can seat about 20 to 25 people. I came at 1pm on a Monday and it wasn’t too busy.
They offer a Family Boil with 50 shrimp 5 crab clusters 1 lb mussels corn, potatoes and rice (70) and an Ultimate boil with 50 shrimp 6 crab clusters 2 lobster tails 1 lb crawfish corn, potatoes and 4 boiled eggs (99).
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Will definitely be back.
