It’s the best sandwich deli in San Diego. Fresh and healthy and very clean. I eat half there and half a few hours later. I’m very picky, and Ray Rays deli is the best in all areas. So many restaurants and sandwich shops are not clean. Even the restroom is very clean and the food is amazing.

The flavors are bold, the portions are generous, and everything tastes crafted with real care. It’s the kind of place you don’t mind driving a little out of your way for — the food makes the commute 100% worth it. The staff is also super friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This place is already a gem in the community, and I can’t wait to come back. Mr. Ray Ray’s is easily a 10/10!

Loved the vibe in this little sandwich shop. Bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Ray himself greeted us in the shop and made our sandwich. I had the classic stack on squaw bread and it was very good. Super large portions. Like how you can choose your own drink and chips for the meal as well. Definitely coming back, support local business! Dog friendly with seating outside.
