I was NOT impressed with the food. We ordered the large oxtail and curry goat dinners. This is NOT Jamaican food! Absolutely NO seasoning on anything. The cabbage didn’t even have salt or pepper. The service was decent and the ambiance lacked luster. It’s a small establishment with little AC. Definitely not anywhere to sit and eat. I’ll pass on this place next time!

Will never order from them again. I posted a good review because my food was always good. Opened my food from uber eats. Everything was cold fried chicken was 1 thigh chopped up to look like a lot of chicken. I got pasta salad instead of rasta pasta. I give them a zero. & they lost a good customer. The women was very sweet but my goodness this is the worst jamaican food I’ve ever had. Coming from a Jamaican heritage , this truly is disappointing. They used to be so good but now it’s terrible. The curry chicken was spoiled, curry chicken should NEVER be orange.
The curry goat was the correct color but so hard. Not tender at all.
The macaroni tasted spoiled as well .
This place is going to make someone sick one day.

Best Jerk pork and jerk chicken I’ve had in a long time made in a real jerk pan!!! Manish Water was outstanding the oxtail was great and the stew peas had a real pigs tail the kind your grandmother used to make. mr. Jamaican Food in Palm Beach. Period.

This review is long overdue. We had an absolutely exemplary experience when we utilized Mr. Macs catering services for our dinner party. Ms. Annette is classy, professional and excellent in every way. She made the arrangements for our catering order and we and all of our guests were very impressed. We ordered ribs, jerked chicken, ox tails, macaroni salad, potato salad, peas and rice, plantains and cabbage. Our order was delivered on time, the care taken to set up our food display was immaculate, and every food item was cooked to perfection and prepared with love! The food was exceptional! Ms. Annette’s potato salad is amazing and the ribs were incredible (my favorites). We are already looking forward to our next event to have Mr. Mac’s catering again! Our experience was money well spent! Thank you Ms. Annette, Son and staff for outstanding service delivery and food quality. Absolutely delicious! It is my great pleasure to give a well-deserved and favorable recommendation.

Tried Mr. Mack for the first and LAST time. The meat was decent, it had potential but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The real letdown, though, was the rice and peas and cabbage. I don’t know what went wrong there, but it was hard to enjoy. The rice was dry and lacked the flavor that should be a staple in Jamaican cuisine, and the cabbage was just plain unappetizing. Plus I had to go back since the server forgot my second side. I know, right
Overall, Mr. Mack has some work to do if they want to stand out in the crowded world of Jamaican restaurants. For now, I might suggest looking for your jerk chicken fix elsewhere.

When there are big pots in the kitchen, you know that the food is going to be good! The brown stew chicken was falling off the bone tender, rice and peas perfect and sweet plantains.
Service was excellent!!!
My next visit to West Palm Beach will find me back at Mr. Mack’s.

This food was utterly disgusting. I am honestly not sure were all the 5 star reviews come from. Is your best chef off on Sundays? Ordered stewed fish with cabbage, rice and peas. Firstly there were no peas in the bland rice thrown on the plate. Second, the cabbage literally tastes like they just boil it and put it on your plate. Most importantly the fish was AWFUL! No flavor, no taste, no spices NOTHING!!! Every item that I tasted was a disgrace to the Jamaican community. There is no way this food was cooked by anyone who know’s what they are doing. I will NEVER step out on faith again. I am in complete disbelief after wasting almost $40 on something that got thrown in the garbage. Do better, seriously!!!! Would not recommend to a dog.
