Mr. India is not only one of the best spots in town for authentic Indian food, but also a top choice for momos and Indo-Chinese dishes. The malai momos were absolutely insane — rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. A must-visit for anyone craving comfort food!

I just visited and ordered quite a few appetizers for dine in. I was immediately impressed by their table service and the owner was really nice and made us feel welcomed.
The food and the place itself was very comforting along with their polite staff.
Taste wise, it’s the best restaurant for Indian food in the lower mainland, their recipes are authentic and delicious. We were blown away by their fish tikka platter and how melt in your mouth the fish was, and their chicken momos was just top notch.

Don’t walk the next time you are hungry for amazing Indian food, Run—To Mr. India! We’ve been eating in and taking out from Abbotsford’s iconic Mr. India for the past 15 years. In the early days we loved the “authentic/rustic” decor and cheap, flavourful food. Today, the interior has been spruced up with a cleaner, fresher, and yet still distinctly eastern feel. But, most importantly, the food continues to be top-tier! The menu offers thali plates with 1 or 2 veg or non-veg offerings (chicken, goat or lamb) including sides of rice, raita, vegetables and a full large naan for $14-18! You can’t find proper servings of delicious eats at that price any more! That larger plate also includes a rice pudding dessert that had notes of caramel crème brûlée. We started with the Samosa plate—2 crisp, loaded pastries smothered in the best Chana and sauce we’ve had in a very long time! Full points to the team at Mr. India for consistently providing the most tasty, top rated Indian food in Abbotsford!

My friends and I were so excited to go to the restaurant for dinner, we read so many great reviews and we were not disappointed. Right away we were greeted with such friendless from the new owner and other staff. He was very helpful and talkative while also giving good suggestions. The food and drinks were delicious and super filling. I ordered the non-veg Thali and a mango lassie. Very good customer service, prices, food quality and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back 🙂

Awesome food. It was my first time visiting and everyone was so welcoming. The place itself is very cozy. We ordered fish, chicken momos and other stuff, it was perfect just like how you get in India. Fish was very soft and flavourful. Meal portions are great too. The best place in Abbotsford for india food.
