Located inside Dan’s Market in Leavenworth. Great little bakery with tasty bread and treats. You can take it to go or eat a snack at the communal table. It’s a cozy little place.

Everything I’ve ever gotten here has been amazing, and an incredibly good deal. As if that wasn’t already everything you could want, the owner used to donate all her delicious day olds to the raft guide camps in Leavenworth (basically camps full of hungry young people who can’t afford enough food). I will never come to Leavenworth and not buy a bag or 2 of the amazing muffins.

Very good quality, handmade baked goods with the kitchen visible from the counter. When closed, select baked goods are set out onto a rack or on the case (wrapped of course) so that they can still be bought while the main store (Dan’s is open). The Trail Mix cookies are my top pick.

I was hoping for a nice European-style bakery. This place sells plastic-wrapped sliced bread and is located inside of a supermarket… Also, the owner can’t take feedback well and suggests I fly to Germany if I want a better experience.

Homefires Bakery is a must stop… We love our morning walk to Dan’s Market and a visit to the Homefires Bakery in the store. The bakery rates right up there in the top 5 for me. We would recommend Homefires Bakery to anyone. I give it 5 Stars and look forward to my next visit.

Really great savory breakfast strudel! Friendly smiling bakers greet you with fresh out of the oven awesomeness. At 6am too! I woke up early so I decided I would walk to Safeway to get a snack from our hotel on the strip. On the way I saw Dan’s Food Market and said “to heck with Safeway”. While perusing the aisles I found an amazing gem of a bakery in the back of the store.

Arrived at 8pm looking forward to a delicious doughnut after a hike at Colchuk Lake and all I found was empty trays and not an employee in sight. Place is supposed to be open till 10pm. Disappointed.
