Terrible employees the 3 males and woman they close at 10 and I got there 20 to 25 min prior and there was a customer in there and they were preparing his food as soon as I walk in they say we just shut down the grill do you want sides? But I could clearly see they were cooking the man’s food!!!! I wonder if it was because of the color of my skin??? I wonder if I would have had on my law enforcement uniform would that have changed anything??? Well I won’t be returning to this location

Although from the outside, it may not seem so grandiose, make no mistake: This is THE BEST MR. HERO easily within at least a 25+ mile range if not further! Friendly, professional, thoughtful, and always paying attention to detail, these guys are a wholesome example of what a family owned and ran restaurant should be modeled after! I drive 30 mins out of my way regularly to visit this location specifically! If you have half a brain and enjoy buying from a place that makes sure you leave appreciated, this place should be first on your list!

Mr. Hero is an Ohio born chain restaurant, but all are NOT equal. I have been mostly disappointed with others. This is the best one by far! I grew up working and eating at Mr Hero and haven’t received food as I remember it until this Mr. Hero! The owners are lovely and take great pride in their product. The food is fresh, made perfectly and a treat for me, every time!

The Mr. Hero in Northfield always provides good food and good service. Very nice, friendly people and that has been true for the entire last twenty years. Over that time I’ve occasionally gone there for lunch and I’ve never been disappointed with the food or the service. Now, it’s just fast food.. so have reasonable expectations on quality. They make it fresh when you order. So have a reasonable expectation on the time. The menu is pretty vast, but how can you not order a Roman burger or cheesesteak?
